Spring Break Fun

Apart from spring cleaning, I am having fun with Drake this spring break.  We were cleaning and found some glow sticks, boy did Drake love those.  Now in these pictures the lights were off and my camera was really bright so Drakes eyes are closed a lot.  But he thought this glow stick was awesome!  My camera is a little old school, because our new one broke like 6 months ago and we haven't replaced it.  But, there is a firework setting that I used after a few minutes, so some pictures are cooler because you can see the glow stick streak!

So excited!

Gee that light is bright, but I will smile anyway!

Nomm Nomm Nomm

He just likes to chew!

Sticking the glow stick on our bubble blower...it looks like a flaming gun!

The folowing pictures are when we found bubbles in our house and decieded to let Drake play some more.

Not a lot of lighting in our livingroom, so his face doesn't show up very well.  The noises he makes and how excited he gets about the bubbles is super cute though...but everything he does is cute at this age.

BUBBLES
(Fist pump) Yes!  These bubbles are SWEET!  My parents rock!
HAHAHA  Look at that face!

Spring Cleaning can be fun when you find all that stuff you forgot you owned!

Spring Break

It is here, Spring Break.

I am so stoked! These last few weeks have been really stressful. I think I slept an average of 4 hours per night. This was my fault of course.

I got behind on my online class and between that and midterms, I have not had enough time in the day.

For the last month or so I have been sick! Actually my entire family has been sick. I thought I would get over it, but too much stress helped me catch more bugs once I would get over one. We have had wonderful runny noses, nasty coughs, and sore throats. Last week I finally went to the Dr and after a bunch of tests, the just decided that I got something viral and then my immune system was week, so I caught something bacterial. I was given an antibiotic. As soon as I started taking them, everything went away, well slowly it has been. I finally feel like I might get on top of this thing.

To top it off when we went in to Addyson's 2 month Dr appointment, she had dropped in her weight and growth percentile. She was gaining weight, just not as fast as they thought she should be. But she is still a big girl for her age. Anyways the doctor totally stressed me out by telling me that unless I could get her to gain weight that they were going to pretty much make me switch to formula. EWW. (nothing against formula, I used it for Drake)

When they told me that it stressed me out enough that I lost almost all of my milk supply. So every 3 hours I have tried to pump, unless Addyson is eating, I am pumping. I am trying to get my supply back...it is kind of working.

The doctor got what they threatened, she is now a somewhat supplemented baby. It is depressing because I had so much milk at one time, and now I have hardly any. I have tried so hard to make sure my baby is getting what she needs, and then I find out that I am still not doing good enough. I am also bummed because this is what happened with Drake, I ended up having to switch him after 2 months of nursing....

I was really stressed the last 2 to 3ish weeks, I am not sure how I survived. My eyes were so bloodshot on the last day of class that I was afraid that if for some reason I got pulled over that the cop would think I was on drugs. DEAD serious.

Now it is some vacation fun at home. I am so stoked that I don't have to have a babysitter at all this week, just me and my kiddos, and some housework. FORGET SCHOOL.

Hunger Games

I have read all of the books, and Kade has even read the first one. I kept calling in on the radio station hoping to score free tickets...no luck. I told Kade I rather not spend a lot of money going to a movie and that I rather wait till it came out at the cheap theater. Kade must have been excited for the movie because he didn't listen to me.

On Friday night at 9:45 we went to Edwards and watched The Hunger Games, it was our first date in 4 months... I'm not so sure you could call it a date, I took Addyson with us, no busy Drake tho. But we went out to Carl's Jr. I have never been before, it was yummy, the burger was too big to finish. Yeah, most of you would roll your eyes at my date night, but hey we are poor LOL.

The movie was great, but I wonder if people who didn't read the books would understand...they left out tonz of info.

I enjoyed myself and I am excited for the next movie...

Ready for the MOVIE. If you look at Kade's Face it looks dirty on his upper lip...no it isn't dirt it his him trying to grow facial hair. On leap day, Kade informed me he wasn't going to shave for a whole year...a whole month later that is all he has, BAHAHA. You can't even tell :D I think he will give up....I hope he gives up, it is a nasty stash.

Thanks Kade, I am glad you forced me to go on a date with you...even if I got after you for it. I really appreciate all you do for me, I needed a break from life. Thanks again, remember I love you so much.

Naked

Drake loves to be naked. I walked into his room this morning finding his bum up in the air, like a stink bug. By the time I got the camera he had woken up. It was still cute enough to take a picture.

Saint Patrick's Day { Seek The Good}

I spent Saint Patrick's Day with the Bingham side of the family. We girls went to time out for women on Friday night and most of the day Saturday. Addyson came with me and she did very well, she only pooped through her clothes once, LOL, and mom Bingham was nice enough to change her!

Maybe I am cheep but does anyone else thing it is ridiculous that they charge $52??? And that is the discounted rate if you preregister with 4 people! WHAT! It doesn't include lunch either, but you get a cool tote. Well apparently they can get away with that outrageous price because it was a full house and there were so many people there we waited in line a LONG time. This isn't a GREAT picture but there are ladies lined up clear back, and the hallway is full.

Happy Addyson

I know I am supposed to seek the good, but for the awesome price of 52 bucks I got this stellar mothers lounge LOL :D

YUP a small auditorium, and the changing table was a banquet table, and if you can see in the very front it looks like a construction area where the stage is. They had it set up so you could hear the speakers, but every time someone walked by static filled your ears...ouch. And with that many women people were always walking by. LOL, but other then that it was great

Not to mention poor mom tripped on our way out to lunch, while holding little Addyson. It could have been a disaster but everyone made it out okay.

I need to remember to SEEK THE GOOD more in my life, I can be very pessimistic.

All in all, it was a very spiritually uplifting weekend, filled with music and inspiration. It was good to be around so many great women.

Drake at 15 Months

Drake at 13 Months, before he got any teeth!
The rest of the pictures are pictures of now at 15 months

This post is late, but oh well. We didn't get into Drake's 15 month appointment on time. In fact we were about ten days late. But he got his shots and was awesome about it, as always! He now is 20 pounds 11 ounces, 30.5 inches long, and has a head circumference of 18.5 inches. He has come a long way.

He still refuses to walk, but will stand on his own for long periods of time. He also will walk back and forth between furniture, and bend and pick things up on his own. He loves to point out his bellybutton and he will even give kisses. He loves music and to dance. When I am doing homework he likes to watch Dora, Diego, and yo gabba gabba.

He is talking really well. The words he can say are ball, mom, dad, no, thank you, backpack (thanks to Dora). I can't think of any other words. But he really likes to say thank you, he thinks that it means please. So whenever he wants something, he points and says thank you, haha.

Drake loves to look at books, and when I put him to bed at night he will get mad at me when the book is over. He would love if I read to him all day every day. He has 4 teeth but it looks like his top fang teeth will be coming in soon. What can I say, I love Drake. He is wonderful and full of character. He has a giggle a smile that will melt your heart. We love you Drake, please stay little as long as you can.

Seriously he is growing up to fast.

Here is a cute Video of him dancing and standing....NO walking.

Baby Gates, TAXES

Although we have failed to purchase legit baby proofing items we have gotten by with random things.  Whatever works right?  I did buy one big ticket item.  We got a baby play yard.  I didn't buy it with intentions to lock my kid in a big cage, but to use it as a baby-gate.  My living room is the only room that has nice flooring that is cleaned the most.  The kid's toys are in there along with the TV to keep me entertained.  To keep my kids occupied while doing homework I needed them in one room...so we got a pen and turned it into a gate.  It is great because you can make it whatever size you want and there is an actual door (it is a pain to open).  But I paid 50 bucks for this pen on craigslist, it is originally over 100 because there were 4 extra panels because the original owner wanted a super huge baby play-yard.  She used it once, and it was practically bran new but have the price SCORE!  On top of that she gave me a free baby-gate for a regular door...so our whole house is basically gated off.  I love when I can save money.  :D  On the downside I still need to buy other things to keep kids out of the toilet and lower cupboards.  It is always something  :D
