The Best Decision

Today has been a year since Kade proposed to me!!! He took me on a four wheeler ride and we had a replay of our first date. I knew what was going on but I was nervous either way. He loves reminding me that I walked away from him when he got on one knee. I just didn't know if I was ready or not for the question. I knew I loved him, and I wanted to marry him...but I was still nervous. But it was a wonderful day, we ended our date with mac and cheese by candlelight. How cute! Saying yes was the best decision of my life. Love you Mr. Kade, can't wait for our little family to keep growing.

We took this picture right before he proposed!!

Sewing Machine

So today started with me having to go to work, booo! But when I got home my husband informed me of a singer sewing machine at the DI. He told me that I needed to go look at it to see if it was something I wanted! Anyways I looked at it, it works, its in good shape, just an older model. So 25 dollars later I have a sewing machine!!!!! I'm super pumped, because I have a few projects that I am looking forward to doing! Now I no longer have to sneak over to my mother-in-laws to use hers. :D Now all I have to do is prefect my skills, could get scary.

Craft Time

So I saw these cute wipe cases at a baby store. I thought, well I think I could make one of those. I found a blog that showed me how to do it. I am going to make a matching diaper case as well, but that will come when I get some alone time with someones sewing machine (I don't have one).
Here is my creation

It didn't turn out like I wanted so I will probably make more until I fall in love with one. This is the link http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2009/03/diaperwipes-case.html

When I was at the D.I. I found this interesting piece. I think I will do some things to it to make it my own!

Also I found a blog post showing you how to make this really cute quilt. I am going to do it!!! I'm sure with my little skills in sewing it will be hard, but its cute and its on my "to sew list!"
Here is the link that shows pictures and than has the links on how to make it!!http://www.makeit-loveit.com/search?updated-max=2010-08-13T19%3A27%3A00-04%3A00&max-results=7

We left early because I am a party pooper,it was hot outside and I wasn't enjoying the weather as much as everyone else with my little belly providing extra heat. :D

After, we went to Terreton an went to the mud lake rodeo. It was fun, we did the same thing last year when Kade and I were dating. This time I got to actually watch the rodeo :D

Baby/House update

So today Kade and I went to my doctors appointment. It was before he had to go to work so he got to tag along, YAY. I love having him come with me wherever. Anyways I'm gaining weight and so is our little man. Everything looks good, other than I am iron deficient. I have had a couple of almost fainting spells at work, so I hope this will be the answer to the problem. The Doc told me to take a supplement and that it will help me not be so tired and pale. I'm sure no matter what I do though I will still be tired. But its nice to know something may help :D. I started feeling our little boy move a lot about 2 weeks ago, and he doesn't ever stop! The nurse always has a hard time finding his heart rate because the second she finds his heartbeat, our little boy moves on her again. Kade has gotten to feel his boy kick, but he said it only a little stronger than a pulse. So I'm sure as the days pass he will continue to kick harder.

On another note, Kade has been working at Channel Blend for almost a month! I'm so proud of him, I know he doesn't like being cooped up all day. He never complains and it's really nice to have a steady check now. I have been working so much lately that I hardly have a day off. Today though I should get a lot done. I have a very long to do list and hope to get it all accomplished.

We should be getting some more home renovation stuff going here in a bit. We are at the point where if we don't finish some stuff now, it wont be done in time for the baby. We went and purchased some sheetrock this morning before the doctors appointment, and we are just going to sheet rock over the stupid wallpaper. There are about 8 layers and we started scraping it off but it took over an hour to do a tiny bit. So we are just going to go the more pricey/easy way.

Ugly paneling, after the self was taken down.

The ugly wallpaper under the ugly paneling.

The first piece of sheet rock!

Wall 1 down, with sheet rock anyway!

While Kade was sheet rockin by himself I was busy painting. Right now its a slow process but I hope we can get things done before baby!!! Wish us luCk!

Bingham Family Reunion

This weekend we had a reunion in twin falls. Kade and I headed out on Friday afternoon, and had our share of obstacles on the way. We got up that morning thinking we would make it there early afternoon. We ended up leaving later than we hoped. The directions we were given were very confusing so we were unsure the whole time. We took the red truck with the four wheeler. We ended up having to fix the break lights, and had no AC so I was a sweaty pregnant lady. But all in all we got up there safe and had a great time. We rolled in around 6 just in time to eat dinner. Shyla had a trading post set up so I got to help her sell the little kids all sorts of fun stuff. Shyla was in charge of all the games and did such a great job. She was so creative, she has such a talent.

We ended up staying in a cabin with Shyla and Tony and their little ones. I was so grateful for our air mattress, because they only had spring boards to sleep on. We had a fun night staying up and playing games. Poor Kaitlin didn't have such a great night, she had a bed fall on her foot and so she could hardly walk to rest of the weekend.

The next morning we had a great breakfast and helped with a treasure hunt. It was so hot for me that I was a real lazy bones the whole day. I just wanted to sleep and stay in the cool. Kade and I went for a ride on the four wheeler and when we got back they were playing water volleyball. Kade got in a water fight with some of the younger cousins and it went all night.

Mom, dad, Steph, and Morgan showed up in time for some games, the auction, and to cook dinner. We ended up getting a Graco pack n play for the baby, at the auction. Kade is super excited about it.

All the family's did a scrapbook page for grandma. I happened to have an ultrasound picture with me so I got to put our little one on our page. It was super fun. Kade and I left as early as we could that night. We needed to be back for church today. I don't think we got outta there till 9 though. It was after midnight before we crawled into our own comfy beds.

All in all there was some good and bad in the weekend. We made the most of it and had a fun time. I got to meet a lot of people, I didn't know many people who were there, I'm still a newbie. Thanks for all of you who put so much time and effort into making the reunion a success.
