March 2015 Four Wheeling

My sister is super lucky and won a four wheeler from cal-ranch the end of last year. Ever since we have been bugging them to go with us up to 8 mile (the place of our first date/where we got engaged).

Today we went, we were worried because it was super windy. My mother-in-law watched all 3 kids, although Lex refused to eat because he is teething. I felt bad for both of them, thanks again. 

We had fun and enjoyed a short ride. It wasn't too windy, but it was icy. We made the most of it and got some cute pics.

My kids even got a ride from Trecia.

The Van's Paint Job

We got an upgrade...Just Kidding. At least green is my favorite color! And good thing we have liability on the van and won't be getting it fixed. :( we along with 16 other cars got tagged just last night, I can't believe how lucky we are to have a custom paint job!!! Happy Friday Everyone. 

Meet Logan

Or whatever we decide to name him. We may change his name, after all that is Lex's middle name. Not long ago we had Cora but she wasn't a city dog and we didn't want her getting run over. She would lay in the road, whenever she got a chance, by jumping our tall fence?!? We adopted her out to a nice family a few months ago.  (I am still super sad that she is gone, she brings a lot of running memories to mind.)

 For about four months we haven't had a dog, that is the longest since we have been married. But I know my husband so I wasn't surprised (when a neighbor needed to move and couldn't take Logan) that Kade gladly volunteered to adopt him. 

He is so scared of the adults, but is so sweet to the kids. I am excited for him to get comfortable. He is a mutt so we are not 100% but his old owners claim him to be Chihuahua and a Schnauzer.

He is 3 and we really like him so far. 

St. Patrick's Day 2015

This year I invited my mother-in-law and my father-in-law down to dinner.  See, my mother-in-law always calls it "her" day.  I believe because it is Saint Patrick's day,  her name is Patti.  Also, her birthday falls on the 17th of a month, Saint Patrick's day also falls on the 17th of a month.  Oh, and her favorite color is green. I always try and celebrate it with her somehow.

I wanted dinner to be fun and green themed. Well that didn't really happen, but we ate copy cat PF Changs Lettuce Wraps, We used beef instead of chicken, they were bomb!  Lettuce wraps are green, so I figured close enough.  :)  

We played a few games of hearts after dinner, I quite enjoyed myself.

What We Did February 2015 According To My Phone

Hey, it's been a while! I don't know what to say, things don't change much around here. But according to my phone life is still happening.

Drake learned to drive on a farm. 

We blew a tire to shreds, it was pretty new too! We were lucky no car or person was injured.

Chopped my hair...like the beginning of the month. Somedays I regret it, most days I love it. I'm fickle like that. 

Kade got a sweet pickup from Grandpa Lynn. He is pretty fortunate.

We purchased a cosleeper for Lex, he still ends up in our bed most of the time. 

I read this book, loved it! I am trying my best to implement it. I have seen some amazing and positive things the last 2 months by just being positive and forgiving.
