Christmas 2016

These first 3 pictures are from the big Kunz family Christmas party.  My kids were all excited to sit on Santa's lap and talk with him.

This is Drake's class with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
He is in the bright blue coat holding a candy cane.

These next pictures were taken on Christmas,
each kid is playing or showing what they got from Santa.

Drake got a shark ship, he really wanted this.
It floats in the water and holds matchbox cars.

Addyson wanted "girl legos"
I was worried that she wouldn't actually like or play with these,
and Legos are expensive.  I have been pleasantly surprised and
I wish we would have gotten legos for ALL of the kids this year.

Lex got a train and it drives on a track.

Most of Christmas morning, Kade helped Addyson put together her Lego set.  The boys were quickly bored with their toys and sat around watching these two put it together.  I felt like they felt left out, but it was good for Addy to spend daddy daughter time.

Church got cancelled, SO MUCH SNOW.
This gave the kids more time to just play all morning.

Here is a picture of the kids with their
Christmas pajama's that they got from G&G Bingham

Later at Christmas dinner, Grandpa Kunz unwrapped a gift from Trecia and Jake.  The kids initially had a bunch of fun trying to fit inside the large mailbox. Later, they spent hours sliding down the stairs in the box it came in.

I wanted a picture by my moms tree.
It is traditional red, one of these years I will update my ornaments to something I like better.

Here is my family on Christmas 2016

I hope you all had a wonderful day and were blessed.

All American Sawtelle Stampede Fun Run 2015

I officially completed a 10k race, WOOT WOOT! I can't believe how proud I am of my body and my mind.  I was unsure if I should even post my time, but I ran the distance/race everyone else did, regardless of my time. I have the hardest time not being disappointed with my time, because I compare it to High School, and before having kids.
I have to remember I took a 5 year break from running.  Then another break because I had Lex, my midwife was very strict about me waiting to start training because she didn't want to cause a prolapse. I slowly got back into running and signed up for this race because I thought my family members would be doing the 5K.... their plans changed but I stuck it out!

\

I don't have my official time back yet and I didn't stop my timer right away so I only have a guess of my time.

This course was very hilly, I didn't expect that, it was pretty hard. I also trained at night so I'm not use to the heat or the sun. The race started around 10, and it got HOT! There was some tree coverage, not as much as I expected, so I got a little sunburned.

It was beautiful, we ran by a small lake and the breeze felt AMAZING!

According to my research a 10K is a little over 6.2 miles. The course ended up being almost a 1/2 mile longer and I was so proud that I finished. I had only done a 5.5mile run prior to race day.

I felt really great the 1st half and pretty tired the second half. I'm super sore and tired today!

Prior to this race I planned to train for a half marathon, but I don't know if it's possible or if I even want to after running a 10K and being so exhausted.

Hope you all had a FUN and SAFE 4th of July.

Spring Break, Mini Vacation (lots of words)

I want to shout out to my awesome family who watched my kids while my husband and I played a little.  You guys are great, thanks again.  Since our honeymoon three years and 4 months ago, we have not stayed in a hotel since or really taken a vacation at all.  I always feel bad leaving the kids and this was no exception, I am glad it was only a night, for my own sake.  The kids didn't seem to miss their parents at all.  I think Kade and I have traveled 4 times to Utah since being married, our honeymoon, a trip to a wedding, my surprise appendectomy, and this little vacation.  We have so much fun at home, we seldom have a reason to travel.

We also hate traveling because something bad always happens, like car problems.  We were lucky this trip, other then a Jeep moved into our lane while we were trying to pass.  My heart skipped and I thought we for sure were going to have an accident.  We were watched over.

I was excited, we had airline miles to use, so we got a free hotel stay! I wanted to see my bestie Suzi one last time before she had her baby, and maybe take some maternity pictures.  We arrived in Utah and I couldn't get a hold of her.  I called and texted.  I was like, did she forget I was coming?  Then Joe texted me, he said "I saw you called and thought I would let you know we are having a baby."  OH, OKAY!  He said he would let us know when he was born..so Kade and I unexpectedly had a bunch of free time in Utah.  Boring us went to dinner and a movie.  LOL, we went to Utah just for a date.  It was awesome, we went swimming twice, and slept on a super comfy bed.  It was great spending so much time with Kade.

Sunday I met the little Daniel.  He is so sweet and looks like his dad. I wish I could have spent more time with Suzi, but everything worked out as it should.

Congratulations Suzi and Joe, you will be a wonderful parents. Love ya Suzi Q.

I was so happy to have a little time away, I feel great.  But I was homesick for my kids and I am glad we are home.  And an added bonus, we had some people look at the house we are living in while we were gone, so we really cleaned up before we left.  Our house feels so good and looks so good when it is clean :)
going to an IMAX movie

going to meet Daniel

Lots of driving

The rest are from when we got to grandma's house to pick up kids.

Addy lined up the Pooh bears and was hanging out with them.

Drake with the cows

My dad took us out to the cows, he is having lots of calves born right now.  He had a set of twins born that passed away, one was born with only part of a skeleton.  It was only his limbs, hips and the bottom part of his spine that didn't have bone.  He was like a big bunch of fur, pretty sure it was the strangest thing I have ever seen.

Labor DAY 2012

This labor day was a little bit eventful. We had some fun :D
Saturday before Oakley got baptized and so we got to see a lot of family on the Kunz side, that was fun.
Then Richard was ordained a priest on Sunday, so we got to see more Kunz family, we stayed the night from Sunday to Monday at my moms house.  Kade got Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off of work and it was super fun getting to hang with him so much.
Then on Monday, we went boating with Wray and Annie's family.

My mom made me a cover up for my swim suit.

Drake and grandpa on Bella

So happy

Later that day my brother broke his wrist on Bella...sorry Ean, Hope you get feeling better.

The rest of us were boating

Spring Break

It is here, Spring Break.

I am so stoked! These last few weeks have been really stressful. I think I slept an average of 4 hours per night. This was my fault of course.

I got behind on my online class and between that and midterms, I have not had enough time in the day.

For the last month or so I have been sick! Actually my entire family has been sick. I thought I would get over it, but too much stress helped me catch more bugs once I would get over one. We have had wonderful runny noses, nasty coughs, and sore throats. Last week I finally went to the Dr and after a bunch of tests, the just decided that I got something viral and then my immune system was week, so I caught something bacterial. I was given an antibiotic. As soon as I started taking them, everything went away, well slowly it has been. I finally feel like I might get on top of this thing.

To top it off when we went in to Addyson's 2 month Dr appointment, she had dropped in her weight and growth percentile. She was gaining weight, just not as fast as they thought she should be. But she is still a big girl for her age. Anyways the doctor totally stressed me out by telling me that unless I could get her to gain weight that they were going to pretty much make me switch to formula. EWW. (nothing against formula, I used it for Drake)

When they told me that it stressed me out enough that I lost almost all of my milk supply. So every 3 hours I have tried to pump, unless Addyson is eating, I am pumping. I am trying to get my supply back...it is kind of working.

The doctor got what they threatened, she is now a somewhat supplemented baby. It is depressing because I had so much milk at one time, and now I have hardly any. I have tried so hard to make sure my baby is getting what she needs, and then I find out that I am still not doing good enough. I am also bummed because this is what happened with Drake, I ended up having to switch him after 2 months of nursing....

I was really stressed the last 2 to 3ish weeks, I am not sure how I survived. My eyes were so bloodshot on the last day of class that I was afraid that if for some reason I got pulled over that the cop would think I was on drugs. DEAD serious.

Now it is some vacation fun at home. I am so stoked that I don't have to have a babysitter at all this week, just me and my kiddos, and some housework. FORGET SCHOOL.

Day 07 - A picture of someplace you've traveled to.

Okay, some of you probably don't care for this whole challenge thing. BUT I LOVE it. It is so fun for me to dig through picture and recall awesome memories. Plus I always seem to learn stuff about myself when I am asked strange and different questions. So its like me journaling things for myself and family later.

I have never traveled far. But the place I have been to the most for a vaccatins would be California.

The pictures are from our honeymoon in San Diego, CA

At the beach!

First plane ride OF MY LIFE!

Thanksgiving Weekend

I have had an interesting/busy week. I was scheduled to work Tuesday, and even though it was blizzard outside I drove to work. Kade had told me he wanted to drive me, but I thought it's just snow. Well on the way to work I drove through so many drifts that I almost got stuck 3 different times! So after working 2 hours the branch got closed down due to roads being closed. Even the mall closed early that day. I called Kade, his work was closed because the server went down, and waited for him to pick me up. I was not going to attempt to drive in that weather again. It was a total whiteout (scary).

I ended up working the next day though, and it was busy due to being closed the day before. After work that day Kade and I went and watched Harry Potter with some friends and had a great night out. We went up to Terreton that night, we drove below 50 MPH the whole way because the roads were so terrible.

Thanksgiving

We had a very busy day on Thanksgiving. Around 5 am I woke up and was super sick. I couldn't sleep and was very miserable. I asked for a blessing and was able to fall right asleep and I have felt great since.
We ended up eating tons of food at Kade's parents house. After hanging out there for a while we headed down to Blackfoot to be with my family. In Blackfoot my family played some basketball and ate pie. Kade and I ended up going and having a meeting with my doula and learning how to prepare more for the upcoming baby. We then traveled home, we both had to work the next day.
It was a great day for FAMILY!

On Black Friday I went to work, it was SO slow. The branch ended up sending me home around 2. It was a funny week. I have never gotten to go home early, and it happened twice in one week. So I met up with my sister-in-law Shyla and mother-in-law and we went black friday shopping. I had a lot of fun, and I didn't spend very much :D

Yesterday we went tree hunting. And got ourselves a beautiful tree. And I plan on putting it up today! Yeah, for Christmas decorating.

Labor day, how hard can it be?

Yesterday I had a doctor appointment. Nothing new, everything is looking great! I'm growing and keeping on track to where I am supposed to be. I am now 27 weeks!!! Getting close to my third trimester. I have another appointment coming up in a couple weeks where I have to have the glucose test. I'm not excited about drinking that sugary stuff, oh well, life goes on I suppose. Yesterday Kade and I went to our first Lamaze class! I was so pumped when we got done, I was thinking that I was going to be able to handle all the labor pains. But this morning I woke up with pain and I tried some things to help me calm down...the more things I tried the more I thought OH BOY I'm in some hot water if I can't handle a little bit of pain. So maybe drugs will be the way to go for me. LOL We will burn that bridge when we get there.

This labor day weekend was short for me. I ended up working Saturday. Kade had Friday and Monday off. It was a sad thing because I only got to hang out with him on Sunday and Monday. So just a regular weekend for me. Kade was busy working on his red truck, so he didn't mind me not being there. On Monday we went for a four wheeler ride with Kades parents. We then went down to the fair. I had some good food and enjoyed myself...even if I have blisters in between my toes from my flip flops. LOL Over all it was a good weekend. Check out the shirt that I got!

On Friday we had another addition to our family. Ever since our little puppy got sick and passed we have wanted another dog so Chief wouldn't be lonely. We needed a dog that was already grown up so he wouldn't get sick. We have been on a search and finally found a dog we like. His name is Oatie. We may change his name. For now I call him Fluffy, Toto, and Simba. I don't know what we will decide. But he is a cute little addition to our family.
