Late nights!

I love night time.  I love when my kids are in bed and I can cuddle and eat treats with Kade.  I love, love, love my babies but I spend all day with the young ones.  When Kade gets home all I wanna do is soak up our limited time.  He is more of a turn in early type, unless it is a Saturday night.  I end up spending at most 4 hours a day with the love of my life.

Anyway, I love my alone time.  I watch what I want, do a tiny bit of homework, and play on the internet...what a time suck.  Although, I am always wasting my time, lately I haven't kept up on the blog.  SAD!  But I do always manage to stay up way to long.  I don't want to go to sleep, I want to have fun.

Most days, I feel like my life is on hold. I keep waiting to figure out where we are going to be living in a few months and nothing seems to be working out.  The large home we are in, was just a winter thing and now we are trying to find out what to do next.  Sometimes I wish life was a little easier.  Sure, I learn a lot, but I think it is time for my emotional vacation.  Can I have it easy for a while?  Okay, I will stop this whining, but I hate being in LIMBO!  Part of the problem is there is a small rent selection and everything is super expensive.  :(

I am called to be the relief society chorister, yeah no idea what I am doing.  But thanks to seminary and some choir classes, I am a good faker.

Anyway, on Sunday the 3rd we were at my parents and our cute dog Roxy ran off.  We couldn't find her.  I was super bummed.  A week later I finally got a call that she was safe and sound, she is on my feet right now :)  I was so glad that prayer was answered.

Today marks Kade being at his current job for 9 months (almost a record), and I am proud and pleased with him.  He works hard and provides for our family, what a blessing he is.

He hates when I take pictures of him.  What a handsome man!

Addyson at the park.  She found puddles and was soaked but we had fun.

The rest are from Grandma Kunz's house

Tractor RIDE

Kade and Drake.  I can never get them to both look at me at the same time.

This last picture is of Kade's newest car.  A 74 nova...he thinks it is a cool car.  He told me they are hard to find, but to me it is just another car.  It is funny that we are both into hobbies but I don't care  to know about his projects (I don't understand cars)  and he feels the same way about mine (he doesn't enjoy girly crafts).  This picture makes it look way more yellow then it is.

Valentines Day 2013

On Monday we headed to town, because Kade got paid and we went to pay some bills.  After we had a nice dinner at Olive Garden...it was an early Valentines date.  On Valentines day, Kade surprised me with a dozen roses, and cutesy necklace(the kids immediately broke).  It was sweet of him.  I love how thoughtful he is.  He always tries to take care of me, I sure lucked out.  We defiantly are not the perfect couple, but he makes me a better, kinder, more patient woman.  This life is about becoming better, and with Kade I have become so much better.  Love you babe.

Procrastinating again!

WARNING, LONG POST, FULL OF PICTURES AND UPDATES

I find when I am really dreading homework, instead of doing it I do everything else.  I mean everything, I even will clean my house!  I have not blogged for a while it feels like.  I am sure there are plenty of pictures or something I need to share.

I hate French class!  Not that it seems hard, it just seems pointless.  I have to take it, 2 semesters, and I feel like I have no reason too.  I don't want to learn it and for some reason I am fighting with it instead of submitting and just doing it.

Believe me, I have plenty of homework to do, but I am not doing it right now....NOPE.

One way I have been procrastinating, is with my camera.  I got a very nice camera for my birthday.  I have been saving up for one for YEARS, and I finally got one!  I use it so much that it is always in my hand.  I have seen some wonderful silhouette pictures and decided I was going to do some.

I am still working on it, I am never consistent, but the ones that have turned out make me smile.  AND I LOVE THEM, they may seem cheesy but I LOVE THEM.  Here are some I have done. The sunset is different every night, so they all look a little different.

First attempt, with Kade and Drake.  Love the color, but didn't think about the big puffy coat.

Yeah, Drake and Kade had fun.  While I was taking pictures and freaking out.  THAT IS TOO HIGH.

Second attempt, this time I used a tripod and joined my hubby.  He was being so silly I didn't get very good ones.  But I do love the purple and blue.
The third attempt there was only clouds.  No sunset :(  It also got too dark towards the end.
But the whole family participated along with our tripod.  :)  Lots of work but I love how some turned out.

FUN RIGHT!
It is hard when there is snow and it is cold and the babies don't want to hold still.  I had to think of all the ways we could hold them so they were distinct and part of the picture.

Now for some more pictures.

Drake in his uncle Jake's boots.  They were up to his butt HAHA.

Drake pulled everything out of the ottoman and decided to sit in it and watch tv.  Made me laugh.

We are pretty sure that our little Roxy is pregnant....we hope she survives, we are unsure of who the father is!

Drake sleeping with his semi truck. :)

Addyson was so pretty in her dress on Sunday.  I wish I had a better picture.

Drake playing marbles with Anne Marie.  I use to play this same marble game at my grandma Kunz's house as a kid.

Drake is so full of it.  He dumped the bed on his tonka truck and he rides it around.  Not sure where he gets his ideas.

Addyson, was kissing her baby.  She loves babies.  She smiles at them, wants to kiss them, I didn't realize girls loved dolls so early on.  It took Drake 2 years to lean how to kiss,  but not this little flirt!

Addyson is such a good throw.  It seems as though both of my kids will be left handed.  Not for sure, but they both prefer their left hands...not sure where that came from.  I don't know very many left handed people.

Oh, and a pretty picture at the end. :)
I wanted to do silhouettes in front of this sunset, but Kade got home too late :(

Snow machine Saturday

Kade made me go on a snow machine ride on Saturday. There was very little snow.  We had so much!  BUTl Friday it melted then iced over.  Then today we got another 3 feet!  So, we picked a bad time to go sledding.  Should have gone the day before or the day after...OH WELL. When we were out there we had an adventure like we always do.  Brad and Nikki came along.  We had 4 of us on 2 sleds and we were having a good ride, we even remembered to say a prayer before we started.  About 5 miles into our ride, the machine Kade and I were on, quit.  We fiddled with it but couldn't get it to stay running.  After about an hour of trying to figure something out we decided to see if we could tow out the one sled with the other.  It worked like a charm.  At first the boys couldn't get the knot to stay tied, so Nikki tied it up and it was fine from there.  I was sure glad I didn't have to hike back.  The miracle of prayer and a 2 foot strap got us out with both sleds and without getting stuck.

Machine one towing machine two.

Then I made everyone take a photo. THE END :)  WAIT THERE ARE A FEW MORE PICTURES.

My manly husband :)

Extra on the SIDE

Kade and Brad refinished a hardwood floor for my cousin this weekend.  It really made for a busy scheduled  between his full-time job, I never saw him.  Anyway, The floor turned out beautiful.

Soon to be CRAZY.

Did I mention I switched majors?  No, because it is new...because I live in the middle of nowhere and all I have are prenursing classes I was unsure what to do.  I can't do clinical rotations and such when I don't live in Pocatello.  Sorry not driving 2 hours one way everyday for school for a few more years.  After talking with a councilor, we decided I can get a general studies associates degree in a few more (part-time) semesters.  Not ideal, but I would like a degree instead of quitting now and having nothing to show for it.
ISU has limited online classes, so I can only take certain ones certain semesters. So 10 credits this semester and I hope to register full time come fall, and I'm DONE.  Light at the end of the tunnel. I may have to take a few in the summer in case I can't get them this fall??? I wish it was more then an associates given that I have taken enough credits for a bachelors, but hey not everything works out the way you hope, especially for me...had some bad luck all my life :)  But if i go back to ISU later I will have the credits and if I decided to go somewhere else I have a start.....

Otherwise, I am starting a new round of biggest loser, Kade joined in.  He is the one motivating me to work out, SO AWESOME. I have 20+ pounds to lose and I hope to make it.

All of my classes are online and I am not looking forward to 2 semesters of French, the book costs more then my anatomy and physiology book...yeah not happy.   No book should cost close to 400 bucks unless it is made of gold :)

ANYWAY HAPPY THURSDAY!

Hello 2013 ~

I am really praying this is our lucky year.  So far we have had fun and I have taken some cute pictures

New years kiss, we were playing cards when it was time for the smooch!  Not a great picture, but hey it is documented. :)

The little girls and I made sugar cookies.  We had some mild fighting with who got what cutter, made me smile.

Addy really enjoyed eating those cookies :)

Some more new years eve/day fun.

It has been frigged outside, so much snow..... more like ICE. -20's is regular and we have already had the school closed due to the cold.  Anyway, Drake got to go play outside and he loves it.

He kept clapping his hands, he thought the sound was so awesome.

How was your new years?  Full of fun I hope! I hope you have a great year this year!
