January 2016
How is it already a new year? As always I am waiting for life to slow down but am surprised to find out that it NEVER does.
I was just at a church training meeting and a thought was shared. When we recognize all the good we are doing we often have some destructive thoughts as well. These thoughts often are a list of all the things we haven't done or didn't do as well as we could have. We often tear ourselves down when we do any good instead of being excited for our accomplishments. And it's easy to do because there is always something we can do better, but we need to rejoice in the good things we do too. We are not enough on our own but the atonement is always there to fill us and we are never alone.
This
Is the story that was shared. And it touched my heart.
A weakness of mine is comparison. My awesome friend wrote a blog post yesterday. I so enjoyed it and I thought I to myself that I needed to write one, I'm not nearly as busy as she is. And then came all the things I clearly don't do well as she does and that she is just amazing and I'm not.
And today as I'm sitting in my meeting I can't help but think of how I'm failing to teach my 3 kids to be reverent in the church. They run and scream down the hall...I miss half of the talking points because I am changing diapers, feeding, or scolding.
I often am reminded, all day, how I'm not enough. I'm hoping God will continue to have patience with me because I'm learning.
We all know, even I know, these thoughts are LIES.
This year I'm REALLY trying to replace any negative thought about myself with this phrase. That isn't true, I am ______,_____,and_______ because our (my) brains need to be re-wired. When we tell ourselves something that isn't true or exaggerated about ourselves negatively it just brings depression and more negativity. We need to correct it, not dwell on it. It isn't true that I'm failing as a mother, I am kind, creative, and more than enough.
Soooo the take away. You are awesome and we all need the reminder that God loves us and he intends to have as many of his children saved as possible. Keep doing your best, because it is enough. And you are more than enough.
Do you have some goals for this year?

Easter 2015
This year we listened to General Conference, we went to my parents for dinner, and had an egg hunt.
Most people love the new years for it's fresh start, but spring brings me that feeling better than January first ever will. Everything comes to life, the sun starts to shine, and bright colors show. Spring brings feelings of new beginnings, and in life, new things are so exciting.
Easter is to remember that Christ not only suffered for us, but miraculously, he rose again.
“And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives!
“For we saw him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father.” Doctrine and Covenants 76:22–23.
God Lives, Jesus Lives, I am so blessed to know that and feel their love. I know and love that I can be with my family FOREVER!
Here are some cute pictures of us and the bright colors of spring.

This picture makes me laugh out loud! Look at Addy, oh and Drake, and Lex. He is even shrugging and asking his dad "why are we doing this?"
Most family pictures go like this....although I wish they would smile sometimes! But their personality really shows through, in a picture like the one above.
I posted some of these on FB, but oh well, deal with doubles..........if there is anyone out there. :D
All the Kunz Grandkids except the one in Makels Tummy!

Hey, we are all looking at the camera!

Lex's Baby Blessing
We blessed Lex in my parents ward in Moreland on November 23rd, 2014. We put it off too long, and decided to finally do it somewhere other than our small home (that still has boxes needing unpacked).
I was really kicking myself for waiting so long when I went to find him an outfit. I quickly found out most places only carry 0-3 months. What?!?!? My boy was over 13#s borderline of 3 month clothes. He is a tall boy and the outfit he did use was a little short. But he was adorable either way. He only made it until the middle of the sacrament before he pooped up his back! I was expecting it to happen, after all he was wearing white! :D
A quick phone picture right before going to church.
His blessing was short, sweet, and to the point....they didn't have the microphone on so I was lucky to hear any of it.
Lex is such a strong baby, I hope he stays that way. I hope as he grows he will seek knowledge, the spirit, and what is right! And I hope I can be the parent I need to be for him.
We had a great amount of support, I am glad Lex has such a large family to look after him and love him.
Great grandpa and grandma Bingham

They were so awesome to let us use their home and they made yummy food for everyone!
My older kids were too busy playing so no family picture, but one of Lex with his parents.

Beau & His Mission
Today Beau left for the MTC, I'm so excited for him. He is seriously an extra brother to me. He lived with us when Addy was brand new, he worked with Kade at the time. Kade and Beau became close working long hours, he is just really awesome. Everyone that knows him loves him.
Last Tuesday. Over a week ago, Kade and I went through his endowment session, with him, it was a great day.
Later that Tuesday, we went on a maiden voyage with our boat, of course we had to bring Beau.
