New Stuff!!!

This week Kade and I looked around at Ross (my fav store). I saw this rug, and I had to have it. Being Ross, it wasn't even out of our price range! Long story short I talked Kade into it. I
really wanted a shag rug ever since Kade's parents got one. Drake loves rollin around on it

Close Up! It is different shades of green and brown.

We also exchanged our drapes that we didn't fit the window for some that worked.

Here is an old picture of the drapes we have in the living room that I love. (They are really shower curtains, don't tell.)

cute, huh

Nail Biting

I try to better myself everyday. Even though sometimes I am taking steps backward instead of forward, I AM trying! One goal I have been working on lately is to quit biting my fingernails. I don't even remember a time where I have not had my fingers in my mouth. I know how many germs grow and live under the fingernail. So I have stopped. It is not the first time I have tried, anxiety always seems to puts them right back in my mouth. So here goes another round. Lets see how long I can get them. Wish me luck!

P.S. It has been almost 2 weeks. YAY me.

Makel's shower

Today Makel Martin, soon to be Kunz had her bridal shower.  We are so excited to welcome her into our family.  She sure is a cute girl, Ean doesn't know how lucky he is.  Anyway, we are so happy for you girl

Sadly this is the only picture I got out of the whole day.  And someone else took it, LOL

We also got to show off our new car that we purchased on the 22nd of March.  Yeah, we got a PRIUS, love the gas mileage.  No joke it gets 47 miles to the gallon...yeah going to save us some $$$ when we fill up. We love it!

House Update

Our home renovations are still at a standstill. Kade has been so busy with work, six long days a week. So we don't have much done. He is constantly finding more projects to do, but so little time to work on them.

I now have a laundry room upstairs. It is sheet rocked and we have a door to put up. We are going to eventually make a second door to the laundry room, so there is an entrance from both our room and Drake's room. That is so much fun, having the laundry room so close. So much faster and easier to wash the laundry! All I need now is to find a way for the laundry to fold itself and put itself away :D

We are almost done putting sheet rock up in the living room. We were going to peel off all of the wall paper but decided the walls would look much nicer if we put sheet rock up. So someday we will get that mudded and painted.

We have been finding so much fun stuff at the houses we clean out that we are running out of space, and accumulating junk. But one mans junk is another mans treasure. I just hate throwing things out, so we have been making lots of trips to the D.I.

I am excited to see where life is headed. I like this job of Kade's, but he is often busy and tired. It has made him really think about going back to school. So whatever life throws our way, I know together with God we can handle anything!

Here was tonights adventure.

Kade just replaced the bathroom faucet. I am excited to not hear it drip anymore. YAY

Chevy Astro

So it is March and we have already purchased another vehicle this year. The first year of married life we purchased 3 cars, sold 1, and totaled 1. So currently we own 4 vehicles. When we found out we were pregnant, we were planning on selling a car and buying something bigger. I wanted a van, and Kade wanted an SUV. Guess who won??? ME!

We only spent 400 bucks on it :D I think that is reasonable. It is so much easier to strap Drake into the van than it is for us to stick him in our little cavalier. Plus there is a TV with a VCR, bonus!

Rollin along

Last week when I went to pick Drake up out of his cradle he had rolled up against the side. So I made a mental note to tell Kade that he was rolling over. Later that day I was cleaning up in the kitchen and asked Kade to come help me with something. He was with me for a few seconds when we heard a THUD and then some ScreAming. Kade had left him alone for a few seconds on the couch and he had rolled over on the floor. Poor baby. Both my boys felt bad after that. But good news Drake is now rolling over! I have yet to see him do it, but I know he does. :D No broken bones, and it wasn't to long of a fall. Oh the things you learn with your first child.

Hair...Double Take!

I finally did it! I cut it all off. Kade didn't like the idea. Now that its done though, he tells me I look hot.

I wanted my hair to look like this, but I chickened out at the last minute.

Here is how it actually turned out.

Drake's Blessing Day

Well on Drake's 3 month birthday we finally had him blessed. The blessing was beautiful and very emotional for me. It remind me of what a little angel I have been trusted to help raise. I am so grateful that my husband holds the priesthood. That is one of the greatest privileges, having the priesthood in our home.

We had lots of family there to support us. We had a full turn out on the Kunz side, even my grandparents. :D

We had dinner after church, it was a full house. It was a day full of love. I know just how much my little family is blessed, and I am so grateful for it.

We found this trike at a house we were cleaning, it was a hit with all the little kiddos. I got a picture of Tonisha on it, so CUTE!

Glee

GLEE!!!

I LoVe this show. It is SO much fun to watch, and to listen to. I have become addicted!

Thanks to Netflix, I have been able to backtrack. :D

Morning Lark

My little man loves the morning. I am normally not a big fan of the morning, but I love the night. When Drake wakes up around 7 he is always in the best mood. He lays there and smiles and giggles. It is my favorite time of the day. When his face lights up, when I hear him laugh, all the tough stuff is worth it. I love my life, even if it is so stressful and hard, it is also so wonderful and joyful.

Hair

I so want to do something with my hair. Ever since I was prego I wanted to chop my hair off. Mostly because I am always getting it pulled. Kade will put his arm around me and pull hair out. Then there is Drake who holds on for dear life to fists fulls of hair. I am just sick of this look that I have had since high school. It is time for a change. Everyone including my hubby thinks I should just trim it. I want something drastic done, like short and blonde. But honestly I don't have the guts and I just don't know what will look good. I honestly don't think I would regret it if I cut it short, but I don't know if I can handle a bad doo. So there is the big crisis of the week. LOL

Also we are blessing little Drake Sunday, yes he will be exactly 3 months!
It will be an intersting weekend full of cleaning my house, which by the way is a disaster. Once my home is clean, I only have to worry about feeding people, and I am not even sure how many people. Oh the joys of party's. I know it will be fun and I am so excited to hear all the blessing heavenly father has in store for Drake. I am so glad I have such a terrific family. We are truly blessed.
