O christmas tree

Yes, our PINK tree. I LOVE IT! That's just me. Kade is so wonderful, he doesn't care a BIT.

Thanksgiving Weekend

I have had an interesting/busy week. I was scheduled to work Tuesday, and even though it was blizzard outside I drove to work. Kade had told me he wanted to drive me, but I thought it's just snow. Well on the way to work I drove through so many drifts that I almost got stuck 3 different times! So after working 2 hours the branch got closed down due to roads being closed. Even the mall closed early that day. I called Kade, his work was closed because the server went down, and waited for him to pick me up. I was not going to attempt to drive in that weather again. It was a total whiteout (scary).

I ended up working the next day though, and it was busy due to being closed the day before. After work that day Kade and I went and watched Harry Potter with some friends and had a great night out. We went up to Terreton that night, we drove below 50 MPH the whole way because the roads were so terrible.

Thanksgiving

We had a very busy day on Thanksgiving. Around 5 am I woke up and was super sick. I couldn't sleep and was very miserable. I asked for a blessing and was able to fall right asleep and I have felt great since.
We ended up eating tons of food at Kade's parents house. After hanging out there for a while we headed down to Blackfoot to be with my family. In Blackfoot my family played some basketball and ate pie. Kade and I ended up going and having a meeting with my doula and learning how to prepare more for the upcoming baby. We then traveled home, we both had to work the next day.
It was a great day for FAMILY!

On Black Friday I went to work, it was SO slow. The branch ended up sending me home around 2. It was a funny week. I have never gotten to go home early, and it happened twice in one week. So I met up with my sister-in-law Shyla and mother-in-law and we went black friday shopping. I had a lot of fun, and I didn't spend very much :D

Yesterday we went tree hunting. And got ourselves a beautiful tree. And I plan on putting it up today! Yeah, for Christmas decorating.

Christmas Tree Hunting

I am SO excited for Christmas this year. It will be our 2nd Christmas being married, and our first with baby Bingham.

Last year Kade went Christmas Tree Hunting without me. I had to work. :( This year was different. He had me come along, even being 9 months pregnant. We went with his sister and her 5 kids. We got stuck, didn't get done till dark, what an adventure.

I even got out of the pickup and went trudging up the hill with everyone. Look at the big ol' hill we climbed.

I didn't end up going the whole way up, or picking out the tree. Kade did a great job. He picked out a great one, chopped it down, and drug it down the hill. WHAT A MAN! It was a work out for me, very cold, but a wonderful experience.

After being out in the cold, we enjoyed some hot chocolate. Shyla thinks of EVERYTHING!

We had the pleasure of having Kaitlyn *Kades oldest niece* ride with us. IT WAS SUPER FUN!

After we went over to Shyla and Tony's for some dinner. Kades parents ended up joining the fun as well. By the end of the night everyone had had fun and we were all POOPED!

CUTE little Emma :D

38 Weeks

Every single day I think to myself "this could be the day". This could be my little ones birthday. And every single day, I get a little more discouraged. I know, I know it's not even my due date yet. I just feel like it's almost time. Plus all the signs that labor is near has happened. I am always having braxton hicks these days, which I hate, only because they are not REAL contractions :( And I sit and time them and hope they will turn into the real thing. Okay, I am done ranting. I went into the Doctor again, and not much has changed. A little bit has though. At least I'm progressing. I am now 50% effaced, and he said about 1 1/2 cm dilated. So at least I have changed since last week. I have gained a total of 37 pounds, which seems like too much. Anyway that is this weeks update. He told me he would see me next Monday, which seemed to me like he wasn't expecting me to go into labor yet....but we will see.

ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

So Kade and I spent most of the day with other people. I had a baby shower and he worked on the house. When we finally got to be alone, Kade decided to take me to dinner. We went to wingers. I really like that place, plus it's cheap enough that we can afford a nice filling meal. We really enjoyed each others company. I love going on dates with him, we try to go once a week, they are wonderful.

When we got home we ate some of the top tier of our wedding cake (tradition). I thought it would be gross, because most everyone I talk to said so. But it tasted fresh, and was so yummy. It was a white cake with raspberry filling. Last year the only cake I got, got shoved up my nose. By the time we got a chance to have some cake it was already GONE! It was really good, so I wasn't to shocked. I was only shocked because it was our wedding cake and nobody saved any for us ;)

The little collage of the cake before and after we cut it. It looks good for a year old :D

Kade Enjoyed It

So did I, and the baby :D

Thanks for the Fun babe, Love U

1 year down, forever to go. YaY

BABY SHOWER #2

My wonderful and best friend Suzi threw me a wonderful baby shower! Thanks Suzi CUTIE! We didn't have a huge turnout because the snow was CRAZY. There was snowflakes the size of snowballs falling. So only those who lived fairly close came. But it was a fun time.

This was takin from the window...crazy big flakes HUH!

I just wanted to say thanks to all those who came and made my shower so much fun! And also for all those who put so much work into it. And also for all the awesome stuff I got!

1 Year Anniversary

Holy COW!!!! The year has flown by. (our little one could be here any day) I must say that I love my hubby more than I did when I married him. I have learned so much in one year, a lot about compromise. There has been plenty of ups and downs, and lots of faith on both of our parts. I thank heavenly father everyday for blessing me and allowing me to have such a great person in my life. It truly has been wonderful. We still act like we got married yesterday, but I hate being away from him for even minutes. So I just want to tell Kade and the whole world how much I love him! Thank you, for making me a better person every day. Thank you, for teaching me what is most important in life. Thank you, for helping me hold on when I don't feel like I can take anymore. Thank you, for choosing me to be your eternal companion. I LOVE YOU MR. KADE!

Temple

A year ago tomorrow, Kade and I were sealed for time and all eternity. We attended a session tonight together, and it brought back so many memories and feelings. I am grateful to have such a spiritually strong husband who has so much faith. We have had our share of trials this year, and with him by my side, I know we can do anything. I love you, Kade. I hope I tell you that enough.

Nursery

So I have given up on hoping to have the baby's room done by the time he arrives. My husband, bless his heart has been trying. He sure works a lot and when I ask him to fix stuff up around the house he is always willing to follow my wishes. Originally we were going to do the living room, then the nursery. But things weren't moving to quickly with the living room, so we skipped to the nursery. First of all Kade moved the washer and dryer upstairs. OH I LOVE IT! No more up and down stairs all day. To tell you the truth, I still don't get all the laundry done that I should. Oh well, I try. After he moved the washer and dryer up, he started building a wall. This wall will cut the second room in our house in half. This makes it so I will have a walk-in closet/wash room. The other half will be the baby's room. So we have the sheet rock up on half of the wall. So it's almost ready to mud, then paint. But the baby could be here any day and we don't make a lot of progress in a week. what can I say, I rather he hangs out with me than with a hammer. Here are a few snapshots of the mess!!!

When I said mess I was being serious

He is just so cute

Be Prepared

This was to adorable not to post! Kade told me I shouldn't post it because he was afraid people might think he didn't know how to diaper a child. He didn't want people to think he needed to practice before the baby came. LOL it's so cute. The dog got into the diapers and ruined one, so we decided to use it on her. She was so cute with it on, I didn't want her to chew it off!

She was showing off!

Kade putting on the diaper

Kade was cuddling her after, because she was sad she had to wear it.

Anything like me

The first time I listened to this song, I was about 6 months pregnant. I couldn't help but smile the whole way through. It just reminds me of Kade, especially the part that talks about every summer wearing something in a cast. I just wanted to share this song cuz it's so stinking cute.

Still 37 weeks

So I wrote a blog about being 37 weeks because I was excited to be considered FULL TERM!!! Well I went into the doctor today, thinking nothing has changed. Maybe nothing has. I did gain 5 pounds!!!! I was so shocked. I didn't gain any the week before, so I was is awe at how much I put on. ANYWAY I am dilated to a 1 :D :D :D Okay, Okay, I know, I know, that could mean absolutely nothing! It was rather funny though because after the doctor left the room, Kade got all worried. I wasn't very excited about the news, I was horrified! Even though it may still be a month away the realization hit BOTH of us, and it scared the CRAP outta me. Kade was reassuring. He reminded me that it's good news, it may mean nothing, and the baby has to come eventually.

Now that I am home, I am very excited. This means that I am close to being done with pregnancy (the uncomfortable stage) and move on the the being a mommy. I have wanted to be a Mommy all my life.

I am very excited to meet you little one!

Food, Friends, Fun

So after the baby shower Saturday, Kade and I hung out with some friends that live in Utah.

Celia and Wayne Wilding

They came to visit their new niece and attended my baby shower. They are a lot of fun.

We went to Big Jud's and yes, Kade couldn't resist the temptation of eating one!

I had a bite to see if it was actually a good burger, or just a lot of beef.
It was really good, surprisingly.

After, we got a giant gumball from the gumball machine and Kade and I split one. LOTS OF GUM!!

I was NOT happy that he blew a bigger bubble :(

We are to easily entertained LOL

Baby Shower # 1

Today was my family baby shower. I had a wonderful time mingling with those I haven't seen in a while. I got a ton of stuff and am grateful for all the love and support I have gotten. I don't know where I would be without my awesome family. And I want to especially thank Cortnie and Annie for throwing me a great party!

Thanks Everyone ~ From both mother and baby!

37 Weeks

I am now considered FULL TERM!!! Doctors appointment on Monday...nothing new I am sure. It is just a big waiting game. Seriously what people say about the last month dragging is SOOOOOOOO true.

A lady that use to be my YW leader offered to be a doula for me. Which is someone to help me through labor so I can try and get through it without medication. People may thing I am crazy, but the more research I do on epidurals the more I don't like them. I am not against them, and if I decided it is the best thing in the moment then, I will not be opposed to getting one. I just know that a woman's body is made to give birth, and I want to do whats best and most safe for me and my baby.

P.S. Baby Bingham, I am so excited to meet you little one. I love you so much already. I thought I knew what love was when I met my wonderful Kade...I find out more and more each day that there is always a deeper kind.

Grandpa Pincock

Today we buried grandpa Pincock. It was a miserably cold day! The funeral service was great, there was a lot of touching music, good words, and tears shared. I learned a lot about a man that I called grandpa. He led a good life of 76 years, and we will all miss him.

The last couple of years have been hard, mostly on his body. He was slowly broke down, and it was a hard thing to watch. Kade and I recently became one of his many caregivers. It was a good thing for both of us. Kade got to help take care of him, and even though they hardly knew each other, Kade showed him a great deal of love. It was so helpful getting to help grandpa in the end because service always brings you closer to people. I became close to him and his wife by being able to help them. Grandpa truly had an angle of a wife here with him on earth and one waiting for him in heaven.

When I heard the news of his passing on Friday I couldn't help but think of the wonderful reunion in heaven he was having with my grandma and his other family members. It is hard to be sad when you know how wonderful the next life will be. Love you lots Grandpa, I was blessed to have you in my life!

These are some pictures my sister Anne Marie took.

36 weeks

I went to the Doctor again today. Good news, there is no new news! :D And I didn't even gain any weight this week, wahoo!
I had Kade take some pictures so you can see how I am growing. Not much has changed there either...I just keep getting bigger. I keep hoping he will come a little early, but it's all in God's hands. It is strange to thing that any day, my whole world could change!!! This thought makes me very happy :D

False Labor

So this morning around 3 I was up with labor :( It wasn't the Braxton Hicks contractions I have felt before. NOOO, it was all over, no sleep, no fun false labor. I kept thinking, this can't be the real thing. They would last for over 2 minutes and I only had maybe a minute between before it started over. So for hours I laid in bed, or was up walking around. At about 6 I fell asleep, and slept till church. When I got up to get ready, I was so soar. I felt like I had been doing sit-ups all night. Well I guess I wont see my bambino today. Maybe another day.

(No not a pic of me, I don't look that good)

I am hoping this event does NOT repeat itself.

Happy Halloween :S the story of how the bug got squished

So today we went up to my in-laws. My brother-in-law was having a birthday bash, and mom and dad Bingham made dinner. It was a yummy stuffed pumpkin (something I never knew existed till I married Kade). We ate at mom and dad’s and then headed up to Shila and Tony's house for cake with the rest of his family. We had a fun evening. After we decided we would go and visit one of Kade's friends that live up there.

It was one of those REALLY dark nights. It had been raining, so the moon and stars were behind a sheet of clouds, and you could see the reflection of puddles on the ground. Kade saw a kitten in the road and dodged it...we were laughing about how he had really good reflexes. Not a minute later we both saw breath in the air, by then it was to late, we had come across a herd of cows on the road. Kade did an amazing job, he dodged about 4 cows and slowed down enough that when we finally hit one, and we were going slow enough that it didn't hurt either of us. We were traveling north and had knocked the cow into the other lane. We got out of the car to look at the damage. My poor beetle was smashed pretty good, and the cow was lying in the other lane moaning. We got back into the car and moved it to the side of the road with our flashers on.

We saw headlights! Coming the other way! The car was driving so fast. We tried to honk our horn to warn her to slow down, or something. The horn wasn't working due to the accident, so Kade stepped outta the car to wave her down. She was going so fast it didn't make a difference what we did. She hit the cow that we hit and jumped the car about 5 feet in the air. Her car did 180 when it landed; she hit 2 more cows and busted their legs before she smashed into a fence post. We thought she was going to be in really bad shape.

Kade and I ran down to see if she was okay. Luckily for everyone no one got injured except for the cattle. We finally got a neighbor to come out and park his truck on the road so that no one else would hit any cows. We were there for about 3 hours trying to figure out if it was open or closed range, what farmer owned the cows, and if the pregnant lady was really okay! LOL, They finally found the farmer and the police told us it was closed range. So 3 cows and 2 totaled cars latter...we finally got to make our way home in Kade's parent's van.

The police told us that if the roads hadn't been wet that the other car's tires would have grabbed better and her car would have flipped over. We also know that if we hadn't hit the cow first the young lady would have hit a herd of 40 cows going really fast, and that could have been deadly. We had just turned on the road and had not gotten up to speed on the highway, so we were able to really slow down. We are also really grateful because our airbags didn't go off. With that accident it would have done more harm than good.

All is good other than we have one less vehicle to drive: D that was our Happy Halloween.

HERE ARE SOME PICTURES!

Doctor, Doctor, Tell Me The News

Went in again today, it will now be a once a week occurrence. This is a pain but at the same time it means I'm getting CLOSE!!! YEAH. Once again there is nothing new. I go to the doctor they check me and say okay see you in a week. It is great news because that means my little one is healthy, as far as they can tell. The only thing that they did do different today was checked me, and a group B strep culture (GBS). So that was my fun baby adventure for the day. :D
