School 2016

We went to Taco Bell for lunch after our first CRAZY day of school.

I don't feel like there has been much to say, although I'm sure there is plenty. Because of Facebook I feel like I have already shared all this, thinking about it I haven't.

The kids started school a few weeks ago and it has been nonstop busy. Now that we are starting week 3, things are calming down. But then harvest will be here and a whole new schedule will emerge. 

We managed to find 5 morning kindergarten kids out here in Pingree. It has been nice only having to pick up the kids less than once a week. But that ALSO changes after harvest. Kindergarten changes to a longer schedule with new pickup times and some kids who need extra help stay the whole day. 

Right now Drake catches the bus in the morning before 7, then he is home by noon. On Monday and Wednesday, Addyson goes to preschool in the afternoon. After harvest I will have 2ish hours Monday and Wednesday with just baby Lex. It's going to be a little weird.

He was really cute, waving at his bus driver.  He didn't want her to miss him. HAHA

He was so excited to ride the bus, but he says it's a long ride. I didn't cry until I got into the house.

Drake had treats the first week of school, the theme was bus safety. We made little buses for the kids.

Summer Has Started - Graduation

Summer is here, that means our first year of preschool is over. I'm already missing the workout time I had 2x a week. It was nice to have a set time to get it done, no matter what, twice a week I had no excuses.  Now, it's hot and I rather not...  :( The kids are already missing school and their friends.

Drake and Addyson's preschool was amazing and worth every penny, idk if Kade would agree, but they went ALL OUT on so many things. They make me feel like a deadbeat in comparison, I'm trying my best to not compare ;) haha

They had a graduation,  it was cute, and jungle themed. They both had parts and memorized them! I was very proud. Plus, I saw a side to Drake that he doesn't show at home. Every time he had a chance at the mic, he would steal the show. He was a totally different boy in front of an audience. He told jokes and was embellishing his speaking parts with sounds. I wish I would have recorded it.

Drakes part: The ravenous rino is big, strong, and tough but his skin is all baggie and flappy. This means there is plenty of room for his lunch and that makes him oh so HAPPPEEEEEEEEEEE (happy)!

When getting his diploma, he lifted his shirt so everyone could see his belt. He said, "when I see a big snake, all I do is take my belt off and whack it on the head, until it is dead, dead, dead!" No idea where he got that, haha. 

Addyson did so good on the dancing part, she enjoyed it, and really is getting to be so grown up. She fits in with the 5 year olds! I know she will miss a lot of kids that go into kindergarten.

Addyson's part: it's great to be an elephant, all big and fat and round, wandering through the jungle stomping and playing around. 

She not only memorized her part, but Drakes too. She would insist on coaching him and correcting him. Drake absolutely LOVED that *eye roll*

This is Mrs. Rhonda they just love her so much. This is Jake, Trecia's husbands, auntie. We are all related, kind of. 

Yellow Day

Yesterday at preschool was yellow day! Lex just happened to be wearing yellow too.

Addyson is getting so tall!
