Taking Stock: April 2015

I have noticed a few of my friends/people I follow doing this.  I can't help but love it.  I am not sure if I will do it every month, like some of the girls do, but it is an update on just me.

Making : Spring projects for my living room shelves, although I never finished my Easter ones.  :)
Cooking : Not much lately.  I have been craving healthier things, so my usual soups, casseroles, and breads haven't been around. More like chicken, tilapia, with veggies.  Lots of salad and lettuce wraps for me.  This is hard because all the kids want are hot dogs, chicken nuggets, and quesadillas.
Drinking : Lots of water, I am nursing a baby and strive to get 3 liters a day....it is hard.  If i don't get that much water, my supply goes AWAY!  So, if you struggle with drinking water, use a straw, it helps.  I got a great Christmas gift from Santa, a liter camelback water bottle (with a straw)!
Reading: Feelings Buried Alive Never Die... By Karol K Truman *I really need to apply this book more*
Wanting: A nap or two, Lex is down to 2 naps a day and I am missing the sleep.  I have blood shot eyes :(
Looking: At houses in Blackfoot!  Although, we may have to wait longer to move, I am obsessed right now with finding the perfect place.
Playing: With my cute 7 month old...he giggles insanely to peek-a-boo and I LOVE IT.
Wasting: Leftovers....I forget they are there....
Sewing: I have started plans for a baby girl blanket, for Nikki and Brad Black, they have a baby girl due in August.
Wishing: For one more conversation with Extra Grandma and My Cousin Riley, to tell them I love them! (it has been a hard week of funerals)
Enjoying: Watching my children grow, it is amazing and so hard being a stay-at-home-mom.
Waiting: On my husband to get his CDL, apparently I'm nagging, HAHA!
Liking: The snuggle time I get with all 3 kiddos.

Wondering: Where life is going to take us.
Loving: That Kade gets home an hour earlier from work, plus the warm weather, which means more time outside together.
Hoping: To find a home that we qualify for, while selling our current house at the perfect time!  This may be a year before anything gets rolling. Hey, a girl can hope! :)
Marveling: At Gods plan for me, how things are always okay and things always work out.
Needing: To clean my disaster of a home, I'm lacking motivation.
Smelling: My babies head, he smells so good.  I swear I feed this kid 24/7, but I love it.
Wearing: My ISU sweats, and a baggy shirt.
Following: Advice to enjoy this stage of life, because it will be over in a blink, and I will miss it when it is gone.

Noticing: How big Lex is...how is he crawling and pulling himself up? Babies don't keep.
Knowing: God is over ALL, and he really watches out for us.
Thinking: I need to make time for a shower today.
Feeling: Hopeful, Happy, & Loved!
Bookmarking: Inspiring quotes
Opening: FB & Instagram WAYYY too much
Giggling: At Drake's silly jokes...he is really into potty humor lately!  He was just making fart noises and blaming it on the dog.  I am really mature...I know.
Feeling: Content, we are blessed no matter what happens this year.

There we have it. Thats who I am today!

Here is a blank one for you and for future me!

Easter 2015

This year we listened to General Conference, we went to my parents for dinner, and had an egg hunt.

Most people love the new years for it's fresh start, but spring brings me that feeling better than January first ever will.  Everything comes to life, the sun starts to shine, and bright colors show.  Spring brings feelings of new beginnings, and in life, new things are so exciting.

Easter is to remember that Christ not only suffered for us, but miraculously, he rose again.

“And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives!

“For we saw him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father.”  Doctrine and Covenants 76:22–23.

God Lives, Jesus Lives, I am so blessed to know that and feel their love. I know and love that I can be with my family FOREVER!

Here are some cute pictures of us and the bright colors of spring.

This picture makes me laugh out loud!  Look at Addy, oh and Drake, and Lex.  He is even shrugging and asking his dad "why are we doing this?"
Most family pictures go like this....although I wish they would smile sometimes!  But their personality really shows through, in a picture like the one above.

I posted some of these on FB, but oh well, deal with doubles..........if there is anyone out there. :D
