Memorial Day 2012

Kade had to work...BOOO.

But we did get to pause and have a picnic lunch as a family at the park.  

We took the kids in the pull behind stroller for the first time.  Addyson slept and Drake loved being outside, as usual.  

Later that day, after Kade worked some more, Kade met with a guy in Terreton.  You could call the meeting a job interview.  Looks like we might be relocating.  SCORE!

Suzi Q

Originally this post was going to be basically pictures.  But then there was an exciting event that took place last night, so I am going to write about it even though it isn't about me.  Suzi is my best friend, we were really tight in high school and have actually stayed friends through it all.

May is a busy month.  My mother's birthday is the 1st and then there is mothers day.  Suzi's birthday is the 16th, followed by my mother-in-laws on the 17th, followed by Kade's on the 18th.  I would say by far it is the most celebrated month. 

Suzi came down and helped celebrate Kade's birthday and we went out to eat and caught up on life.  She caught me up on her boyfriend Joe. 

 Then last night she sent me a text with this picture.

  

I called her to make sure it was for real.  Joe is moving to Utah to go to school pretty soon, so I thought they were going to date long distance.  But apparently he didn't want her to get away, so he proposed.  She told me they are planning on getting married around January....but that is tentative. 

  On another note, I have not met this man, so I am a little anxious to.  I need to make sure he is good enough for my little Suzi :D

Anyway, Congratulations you two crazy love birds.

Date Night

This date night started off as work.  Kade asked if I would help him take pictures so he could get off of work sooner.  We asked my mom to watch the kids and we headed to Pokie to work.  After we got done Kade took me to dinner, and I was excited to go to a place my family visited a lot when we lived there.  I lived in Chubbuck until I was 14, so I have some preferences when it comes to restaurants.  

I made Kade take us to Johnny B Goodes.  It is a 50's style restaurant, a burger joint.  To me it is fun to escape and go to a different time.  I love this place because it is so cute and the food is super good, especially their milkshakes.  

It was a fun time.  There is a restaurant in Idaho Falls called Dixie's Dinner and it is also 50's style and really cute.  Kade and I have been there a few times and it reminded me of this place.

Addyson's First TOOTH

Only a few days after Addyson turned 5 months, a tooth popped up!  Okay not exactly popped, it was kinda hard on my little one.  I was glad when I found out she was getting teeth, because she was SO grouchy and whinny all the time.  Fevers and ear infections were very common at our house for the last few weeks, so hopefully she is over that for a while.   I am praying she will overall start to feel better.

Last Hoorah

Adam and Jamie have left Idaho :(

We are sad too see them go but excited for them at the same time. Adam is finally a Podiatrist, congrats, and they have moved to Michigan for residency.   More then likely we wont be seeing that family for 3 years, unless one of us vacations.

We got to eat dinner together and have a last one on one time with their family on May 17th, it was fun!  Forgot to get pictures :(


There was one last party for Kade and Mama Patti's b-day, and Adam and Jamie's family.  We forced everyone to take pictures, although I don't have an excellent camera, I still got some cute pictures.  I hope to get copies of everyone else's pictures, hint, hint.
