Things are looking up!
Our water heater is fixed!!!! YAY! It only took like a month to motivate my husband. Lol, we only could take about 2 minute showers. I had to wash my hair, wait a few hours than jump in to wash me. It got obnoxious. When Kade tried to fix it on Saturday night, we ended up getting no hot water at all. He couldn't figure it out. He swapped out a bad element and it should have been working. On Sunday I decided to wash my hair, it was painful. I wasn't however going to try and take a shower in the cold. Kade's dad came and looked at it, I guess both elements were bad, not just one. WE now have hot water! Our heater works better than it ever has in the 2 years we have owned our home.
It looks like Kade has some work. We don't know how steady it will be or for how long. SO WHAT! It is income and we could use some. :D He is working for a company called United Services. It is the company Brad his friend works for. They refinish gym floors. And they do big floors for the NCAA, some NBA, High schools, but mostly church floors. It is actually really cool to walk into their building and see an entire NCAA basketball floor laid out.
It really is about who you know not what you know, it is nice to see that in action. Brad texted him this morning to come in and work, and it looks like the rest of the crew is impressed with his knowledge and desire to learn. I am happy for him, he seemed to enjoy it today.
YAY for family. Previously we thought that only a few of Kade's siblings were going to be able to come to mom and dad Bingham's when Kevin comes home. But now it looks like we are going to have the whole crew. It will be the first time in 4 years that they have had everyone home at the same time. Kade and Kevin missed each other by like a week, when Kade was coming home from his mission and Kevin was leaving for his. That is very exciting. We will see how it goes. I am just glad no one is staying at my house. :D
I am glad some things have worked out for us. You probably are too, that way you don't have to hear me complain. I was wondering how much patience the Lord was trying to bless me with. I hope I learned the lesson he was trying to teach. I am always glad for the lessons in the long run. It is during the trials that is hard to see what the outcome will be and what is being taught.
I have so many blessings, I am trying to not complain as much and to see all the wonderful things I have.
All I need to say is...Dang we are so blessed.
