Holding Amber

Yes! I was excited to finally get to hold my niece.  She was released from the hospital on the 16th of July and a week later I made it to see her. We wanted to make sure we were healthy before visiting.  Kade and I both go to hold her, Addy was a little sad she kept trying to get close to the baby.  But until she is a little bigger my kiddos will have to wait to hold their newest cousin.

Kade was a baby hog :)  Held her almost the whole time, he said it was to keep me from getting baby hungry.  But we all know he is the hungry one.

Pictures, taken on the phone so grainy. :)

She is a cutie and wide awake.  It was a fun visit.  She was just back to birth weight, just over six pounds...tiny thing. We are so glad she is home and doing so well, love you so much already little

Here are a few FB pictures her mom took.

Amber Update

Ean's little baby girl Amber is a week old today.  They were hoping that a week would be the only amount of time she had to stay in the hospital, but it looks like it will be a bit longer.  She was born in Mountain View and was transferred Saturday to the NICU at EIRMC.  She was on a ventilator but was taken off on Tuesday.  And she is now officially off any medication and out of the incubator. They now get to hold her more :)  She is still has labored breathing tho and is on oxygen. They haven't given them a time that she will be okay to go home.  I don't know if there is still fluid on her lungs or not, but it looks like they are on the downhill slope.

This is the only other picture I have.  I hope to soon be able to see her and hold her.  :)  We are still praying and hoping she will be home soon.

4th of July 2013

On the 4th I am use to hanging out and doing crafts all day while the boys play.  This year, we didn't do much of anything.  So, finally in the late afternoon we got together with Brad and Nikki and road on the fourwheeler.  We road to the lake and the kids played on the dock and splashed and played.  It was mighty hot.  And as always I didn't bring my camera when we road on fourwheelers.  I guess they make me nervous.  My little camera is packed away so when we move, maybe the amount of pictures I take will increase.

Yep, we are still living in suitcases and have very little.  I am excited to get moved into our home, but everyday it seems to get pushed back.

Anyway, after fourwheeling we went to Brad and Nikki's and watched a movie.  By the time we got home we missed the fireworks that Kade's family does.  I was bummed.

Although, if we would have known the firework show in I.F. had been delayed an hour, we would have gone to watch it.  We thought we were going to miss it, but we wouldn't have. :(  I like fireworks and I just didn't happen to get to watch any this year.

I enjoyed Kade being off of work for the fourth.  This is only the 2nd year that he has actually been able to not work on the 4th, or any major holiday, we are blessed.

On Saturday  the 6th at Trecia and Jake's house we did poppers and sparklers.  The kids enjoyed both, although I was sad I didn't get firework pictures this year.

Happy birthday America.

Meet Amber Kunz

That is right!  Ean and Makel had their baby!  I am an aunt again and I am excited to get to know Amber.  She was born a whole month early, so her lungs are not quite where they want them, they are underdeveloped.  She is on a breathing machine/ventilator and under some lights for her jaundice.  We are all praying and hoping she will be released from the hospital soon.  I have never had to leave my babies at the hospital, but I assume it is not at all easy.

Here she is

Born at 11:52 pm  6 pounds 6 ounces 18.5 inches long

She was born on the 4th along with her cousin.  Makel and her sister both had their babies about an hour apart, HOW CRAZY!  They got to spend their hospital stay across the hall from each other. :)

Dreams

Although I don't often remember my dreams, I had one the other day that is worth writing down.
I was in a dream and I was getting ready for the day.  I remember brushing my teeth, and I remember being in a huge hurry.  My mouth was full of toothpaste and I was done brushing I spit in the sink.  As I spit in my dream I actually spit.  Waking myself up with projectile saliva all over my face, my pillow, and my bed.  It was super gross, but I started laughing hysterically.  How dumb?  How did I actually spit in real life over a dream?  Needless to say my nap was over. :)
