A Bad Luck Day

We were supposed to have carpet installed yesterday.  I was really excited too.  When the installers got there they just seemed to not want to work or something.  They gave me some excuses about how they wouldn't install that day and left in a hurry.  I had no time to argue or figure stuff out.  So, the day started out not so great.  Now, we can't move in and we are supposed to be out by tomorrow.....

I then got a flat tire on the Monteview highway.  I also had no cell phone with me, because I forgot to grab it! AWESOME.  As I was getting our stroller out to hike to Shyla and Tony's to call my husband someone stopped and changed my tire for me.  Yeah, I would have never been able to get that done with screaming kids in the car.  So, it could have been worse. I was very blessed.

Getting home I figured my bad luck would be over...but Addyson decided to slam my finger in the door.  I didn't have enough curse words to express the pain I was in.

Kade's truck is non working because he needs a new radiator.  We thought we would get it Friday, then Saturday, then Tuesday.  Yesterday, they damaged the package during shipment and shipped it back.  Yes, moving without a truck! Perfect timing. :)  It will be at least another week before we get it, BOOO!

Later yesterday night I was cooking dinner and we are in the middle of many boxes.  One of the kids had laid a pack of earrings on the floor.  Without noticing I stepped on them, piercing my foot in 3 places.  Lucky for me Kade was home to pull the earrings out of my foot for me.  I have a very sore foot today.

Okay, so we have had some bad luck.  I am hoping everything works out. Who wants some pictures?

We got a lot of painting done on Saturday and Tuesday night!  A huge thanks to my sisters, mom, chard, and  my brother-in-laws!  Also thanks for helping at crunch time to the whole Sauer family.  You all helped so much and we are really appreciative

Beige and green in the living room.  Not crazy about how the green turned out.  But with carpet and decor I hope is all good.

Did the same light brown in Drakes room.  Couldn't decide so I just kept it neutral.

My biggest disappointment is that the rooms look unfinished because there is no baseboard or trim.  I am hoping my husband will be true to his word and install some after a while. 

Bathtime and Addyson

I posted these pictures of FB.  But thought for my journal I should put them here too.  Most of the family has witnessed Addyson's love for the bath.  She screams and throws her head, it is really quite dangerous.  So, baths were a dreaded time for sure.  I still give her baths but normally I have help from Kade.  It is normally fast, furious, and fun.  NOT.  Here is a picture of Addyson when the kids were sick and throwing up all day and I had no choice but to bath her multiple times a day.
















Then it was like a switch was flipped.  She is now 17 months and she really enjoys tub time.  IDK what changed but I am not complaining.  She is much cuter when she is happy.  And Drake likes tub time more when she is happy.

Some Inside Trailer Pictures

I'm sure everyone is dying to see my 70 style trailer!  LOL, but because everything is happening fast and changing I am glad I got some before pictures.

I thought Drake had flushed my memory card down the toilet, but I found it. :)

The outside looks so much better with the skirting on it, like in this picture. 

When you walk into the trailer you can go left or right.  If you chose right you walk right into the living room

  

In the living room there is a bar that is connected to the kitchen.

If you continue right you find a hallway connected to two bedrooms

Both bedrooms share a half bathroom. 2 doors to the bathroom. Don't you love the yellow????

Here is bedroom 2...this yellow carpet had to be cut and cut to get it up.  So many staples.  Not to mention the very large blood stain on the carpet pad. 

This bedroom's closet is huge, it use to be part of the bathroom with a second shower I believe. 

Back to the front door.  If you go left instead of right you run into the kitchen.  And I have already sanded down the cabinets and am staining them black!  I am really crossing my fingers that it turns out okay.

If you head past the kitchen there is a small full bathroom.  So small that I had a hard time with pictures.

Across from the bathroom a laundry room, bigger then the one I am currently using. 

Not a great picture but It is a pretty big room.  And the back door is attached to the laundry room.  This door needs help, it doesn't wanna close. 

At the end of the house is what will be our bedroom.  Nice big closet.

Now the house is all torn up lol, we need some magic for sure. 

Moving Our New Home.

Yup, we moved our house.  We of course are not even ready to start the actual move.  Yes, I know I am supposed to be moved in less then 2 weeks...but I am waiting.  Anyway, more was accomplished yesterday then I thought.  I am so excited, that it is finally moved.  Now, to hook everything up will probably take way longer then I want.  But at least it is closer and feeling like it may be livable.  Thanks again to everyone who helped

The empty lot...it was covered in things but by the end of the day was cleared out.

The moving process gave me a heart attack.  The doors flew open and I thought the trailer might come unhooked while moving.

Now for setting it down and hooking it up.  

Carpet is scheduled for Wednesday, but I am thinking we will have to push that back a bit. 

I took down all my cabinets in the kitchen and am planing on staining them...Drake lost my memory card or I would post pictures of the very 70's style inside.  

So much to do. 

Kade's 25th Birthday

WOW, I can't believe Kade is 25.  I remember thinking that was so old as a kid  :)  He was spoiled, but on the downside he had to work all day.  He had his normal job until noon and then we went and moved our trailer house from where it was to where it is now!    Everything turned out great, and we all had pizza & cake after.  So, thanks again Sauer's and G&G Bingham for all your help!

Kade got boring stuff mostly, we got him a new phone and a Hurley shirt, he also got 3 pairs of pants (that he really needed) from mom and dad Bingham.  He goes through shoes and pants at lightning speed.

Kunz family pictures (taken in NOV 2012)

Clear back in November  my sister won a free photo-shoot and large print. She included the whole Kunz side of the family and gifted the picture to my parents.  Now it seems like a good deal, except that the pictures turned out so cute most everyone purchased their own...what a smart business strategy.

I know this isn't the greatest confession, but I took pictures of the pictures.  This way I have them digitally forever.  So don't tell on me, because I did purchase my print (and it wasn't cheap).  Plus pictures of pictures don't turn out so well, they are too large to scan into my computer.   I thought they were super cute

My kids are silly. They know how to make me smile.  Today I was out in the yard watching them play/taking pictures.  I got way more goofy faces that smiles, mostly from Addyson.  Enjoy the pictures that wont make the frames.

Mothers Day 2013

For mothers day I did some more DIY projects.

For Patti, I purchased a craft to do.  We had a fun Satuday where we spent some time just us two girls...it will be a fun memory.  Sadly, I only have a picture of my finished project.

For my mom, I spent some time with photoshop.  I created a subway art for her, I was so excited by the finished product.  And I printed through walgreens because they were the only place that printed as big of a photo in the short time I needed.  It was supposed to be a poster print, but it was photopaper and way better quality then the last poster print I purchased from the internet   It was more expensive but for the quick time and the awesome product I was impressed.

And for my mothers day, Kade let me pick two shirts and he got me some awesome socks.  I am picky about my socks I like them squishy and thick and different color or patterns so I don't mix um up. :)

We also tried to get a picture of me and the kids since that never happens...maybe I can convince Kade to try it another day.
