Back to School
It is official, I just finished and submitted my application for ISU! I quit going to school after I got married, it has been well over a year, and I am ready to go back. I was going to EITC for my LPN, but decided to change direction and go to ISU for my bachelors degree in nursing. I am excited and waiting for a letter letting me know if I got in or not. I am crossing my fingers. :D

Snowboarding
On Tuesday there was a free ski night with my parents ward. Here are some pictures.
Prior to going to the hill. Kade, Brad, and Nikki.
Kade thinking he was cool.
Brad and Kade :D
Lots of fun, but is it worth the sore muscles??? I haven't decided.
Bath Time
Okay, so it has been months since Drakes first bath, but I have photos I wanted to share. Now we were told not to immerse the baby in a bath until his umbilical cord fell off. So of course, we just gave him sponge baths, until it did. We are first time parents, and I know I don't know everything. I am learning fast though. So his first bath we used a baby bath, Drake HATED it. So I got smart and used the sink the second time. He really likes bath time now. As far as I can tell he loves it, and it is a very fun bonding time for all three of us.
Here is a picture from the first bath.
See he seams to enjoy bath time now.
All squeaky clean!

Pictures
So I decided that I am the only one that takes pictures, therefore Drake and dad have a bunch of pictures together. Drake and I hardly have any, unless they are family pictures. So I made Kade take pictures. So I wanted to post a couple just cuz I like showing of my little cutie.
We finally got him to smile :D
Brad and Nikki
About a month ago Kade's childhood friend Brad and his wife Nikki moved into our spare bedroom. It has been really fun and I am grateful for the built in babysitters. It has turned out perfect. Kade has been on a crazy schedule, and he always is pulling me along with him
to jobs, so it has been a very big blessing to have them here with us. We are hoping things will calm down soon, but until they do, thanks you two for putting up with so much!

Valentines Day
My hubby is always so AMAZING. I am very much in love with him! There is no changing that. I always say this, but I am so glad I get to spend forever with Kade.
I am probably the worst person when it comes to gifts, giving gifts. I have a hard time giving gifts because I worry that the person they are meant for wont like them. So I worry and worry and then just give up. I know, I know I shouldn't give up so easily. Kade on the other hand, is always looking for an excuse to buy me something! Isn't he great?
Anyways, Kade and I were cleaning out a repossessed home in Blackfoot, he surprised me with a dozen red roses. It was super cute, and I am glad Kade was sweet enough to give me a reminder of his love.
I ran across this song and I really love it.
So happy late Valentines Day! Love you KADE!

Weddings, Weddings, Everywhere
Congrats to the two siblings who are both newly engaged.
My older brother Ean proposed to Makel Martin on Christmas Eve. They will be married in the Idaho Falls temple on April 9th (my sister Anne Marie's birthday). She is a super sweet girl, we are excited to welcome her to the family.
My younger sister Trecia was engaged to Jacob Butt on February 5th. They will be married in the Idaho Falls temple on June 3rd. Jacob has been a friend of Ean's for a few years now, so he is pretty much already part of the family, but none the less we are excited for him to be a permanent part of our family.
Good luck to both my siblings. I am so excited to be a part of all the love:D

2 months
Oh my, I cannot believe that my little angel is two months. We went to the pediatrician today, and well, he has certainly gotten bigger. He now weighs 11 pounds 4 ounces, he is 23 inches long and his head circumference is 15 3/4 inches. Drake got his two month vaccinations today, and he is still a little bit mad that I let that mean nurse poke him. All in all, he is doing great and I am still adjusting to the busy lifestyle of a mom. He is so cute and fun. I am so grateful for him and his wonderful daddy. Without them life would be so empty. I love my two boys.
