Christmas 2011

Because of the baby being so close to Christmas I really didn't get much done. We didn't even get our tree up, or decorations of ANY kind...sad. It is my fault, but my excuse is that I was to tired to worry about it.

We had a great Christmas. Addyson was such a special part of it, I am so grateful to have her and Drake in my life. Even though this has been the hardest week, I am hoping to get the hang of everything and not feel so overwhelmed. Two babies is harder than it sounds.

On Christmas Eve my family packed up and went to my parents house, for homemade pizza and games. We then spent the night. On Christmas we opened presents and ate Christmas dinner with yummy prime rib! We then went up to see Kade's side of the family. I have stayed up here with his family since. It has been a big help. Kade's mom and Jamie my sister-in-law have been awesome to me and my kids.

I have had so much help from both sides of my family. Kade has been working a lot and it has been hard, I hate not getting to see him, or getting help from him.

I want to really thank everyone who has been so helpful. I don't know what we would do without our awesome family. Love you guys.

I didn't take many pictures, which shouldn't be the case. I have a new baby and should have my camera permanently attached to my hand.

End of the 9 months DUE DATE!!! Hospital pictures I forgot to post!

8 days post due, midwife said it would be a good idea to get started.  HECK, I have school starting in a few weeks, I want to spend as much time with her as I can.  LETS DO IT!

Kade kind of rushed us out of the hospital, we stayed one night.  I was comfy but he was ready to go and the midwife gave us the okay to leave the day I delivered because I had no stitches.  Never knew Kade hated the hospital so much haha

Miss Addyson's Birth Day!

Yay, we just had our little girl. She was over a week late, but hey, she is here. We decided to name her Addyson Bingham. She is darling, looks tonz like Drake, but with big lips. She was a chunk weighing 8#'s 11oz. She was 21 Inches. Born on 12/22/11 at 1:06am.

She is amazing and we love her already. I will post more pictures when I get more. Right now I am trying to sleep, but too endorphined up.

Christmas Parties

We enjoyed some fun this holiday season with parties and family.  My family is really good at celebrations.  

Even with being 9 months along and days overdue I still enjoyed the company.

9th Month

This last month was so hard for me to want to take pictures.  I didn't get anything done in these last weeks of pregnancy.  I did sleep though.  I am not one of those people who have a hard time sleeping when I am tired, no matter how fat I am or how many toes are in my ribs.

So, yea....not great pictures.  They were really slim pickings, but whatever...I have a belly...

Checkup

Drake had his 12 month checkup the other day. He is getting so big! He is now 19 pounds 4 ounces which is the 9th percentile, 28.5 inches long which is the 17th percentile, and his head circumference was 18 in. which is in the 25th percentile.

Drake is scheduled to see a specialist on Friday for his eating. He still wont eat anything that isn't baby food or liquid. He gags and throws up if it is anything solid-like. He had low iron because his diet consists of mostly milk, so hopefully we will be able to get him to eat some real food.

He of course had more immunizations, he did great. I think shots are harder for me then they are for Drake.

My baby is getting so big and he is so cute. Love you Drake.

The worst thing that could happen, right before finals.

Probably everyone knows about Pinterest, and is apart of it. Well I wasn't a member until the week before finals. I got a week off of school to study, did I? Yes, a little...but not as much as I should have. I really cannot believe how annoyingly addictive this site is. But there is so many fun things I have already done and learned on this site. I actually cook a little more because I want to try out yummy looking recipes. And I have gotten hair tips, and cleaning tips. Plus now I know what I am going to make people for Christmas. But still it is dumb how addicted I can get to internet sites. My husband rolls his eyes at me because I am wasting my life. He doesn't mind as much when I blog, because it is a type of journalism and it is good for me to post things...but he doesn't agree very much with Facebook or Pinterest.

Anyways, I know I am slow and behind the times...I just started sooo we will see how long it lasts.

Past Due

This is the second time this has happened. I am over due again! What a waiting game. Yesterday, I went to the midwife and everything looks good. I am measuring less than before, 36 weeks because she has dropped so low. I am dilated to a 3. No news other than that.

I am so glad I decided to use a midwife. Even though I am overdue she wont make me get started unless it becomes unsafe for the baby. My last Dr. wouldn't have let me go more that 10 days overdue and then he would have started me. Next Wednesday, if I haven't had her she will do an ultrasound to check the baby and the fluid. Unless things look bad, I will continue to wait until little girl comes. I just rather the baby choose when she comes, it is an easier labor and delivery for both of us.

I am done with school for the semester. I didn't do as well as I had hoped. I think instead of straight A's it will be more along the lines of B's. That is okay, at least I didn't fail any classes, plus I have to remind myself that I was pregnant, holding a job, while being a mom. I have about a month before next semester starts, I am excited for a fresh semester to start over.

Kade has been busy this week with work. He is doing REO work again, where he cleans out homes that are foreclosed, he really loves that job.

We have a Christmas tree thanks to Shyla and Tony, but it is still on our front porch. I can't seem to find the energy to decorate it...and there are only 10 days till Christmas.

I just keep hoping for a baby to come.

Gingerbread Houses

Brad and Nikki came over tonight and we decorated gingerbread houses. I was sad today because it is a day past my due date. My midwife told me that I was most likely going to go early because my pregnancies were so close together and my body didn't have time to get strong, so I was expecting to have a baby already. But tonight the goal was to get my mind off of things.

This was the box picture of how they were suppose to turn out...but that was impossible. I really tried to get mine to be as pretty as this, but there was no way.

Breech Baby Update

For some reason in my silly mind I thought I had blogged about this and told everyone what was going on. Goodness this pregnancy brain is really getting to me.

On Wednesday I went to see the midwife and the baby turned! YAY! I get to go along with my pregnancy as normal, and she will make an appearance when she decides to. My midwife checked me to make sure the baby's head was engaged. I am dilated to a three, which means nothing LOL. But at least I don't have to do as much work once labor sets in.

ANYWAY. All that worry for nothing. I am glad that I will be able to have the baby as naturally as I can.
