Last Hoorah

Adam and Jamie have left Idaho :(

We are sad too see them go but excited for them at the same time. Adam is finally a Podiatrist, congrats, and they have moved to Michigan for residency.   More then likely we wont be seeing that family for 3 years, unless one of us vacations.

We got to eat dinner together and have a last one on one time with their family on May 17th, it was fun!  Forgot to get pictures :(


There was one last party for Kade and Mama Patti's b-day, and Adam and Jamie's family.  We forced everyone to take pictures, although I don't have an excellent camera, I still got some cute pictures.  I hope to get copies of everyone else's pictures, hint, hint.

Again good luck to your family Adam and Jamie!  Congratulations Adam on graduating, you worked hard!  And I am glad you guys are a family that is together, I can't imagine being away from your spouse/father for a year, you did it, you guys are awesome!

2.5 Years

I love Kade!

Time has gone by so fast and I am constantly reminded lucky I am to have the life I do.

Kade is so handsome and such a fun guy to be around.

He works really hard to provide for our family and to keep us happy.

He is the best dad and such a great support to me.

I am so blessed to have him...forever

Kade's 24th Birthday, One year OLDER

Happy Birthday Kade.  I am so happy whenever you are around.  Of all the memories I have, the ones I've spent with you are my most favorite.  Hope you had a great 24th birthday. LOVE YOU.

Started out with breakfast in bed...our dirty dishes.  I forgot about pictures :D

The it was back to the kitchen to make some CAKE!

First I made a special cake just for Kade.  Is is the best cake I have ever tasted.  it is a pudding layered cake.  We decided we would have our own special cake that we didn't have to share.

Then I made a 24 number cake that I used Wilton's number and letter pan.  You can make any letter and number with this AWESOME pan. 

It was so easy and I will be excited to use it in the future. 

This is all it is, a pan with some inserts, COOL!

Only problem was that I ended up making 3 cakes.  The pudding cake, the 2 cake, and the 4 cake.  

Boy I was sick of the kitchen when I was done for the day.  Because I still had to make dinner.

Frosting was the worst part because there were so many areas you had to frost.

Then I put strips on the cake.  I wish I would have used red or something more visible.  

And I used a sandwich bag to decorate it, LOL not bad for not having cool tools.

We  had funeral potatoes and meatloaf and steamed veggies, per Kade's request. YUM

Sad part was, we still had a 4 left over.  But this cake was so sweet to cut, perfect square pieces.

Camera Update

Basically my camera is toast!  We dried it out and took it apart.  It turns on, but when you take a picture it is really fuzzy and has lines all through it.  I guess we will be camera shopping sometime soon because I am always taking pictures!  So, if you have suggestions on a lower end camera I would love some advice.

Catching up

Well as you can tell I am catching up.  I have been going though blog posts that I didn't quite finish and finishing them.  It is random and out of place on the dashboard, but all is well and organized on my blog.  I just didn't realize how many thoughts I hadn't quite completed.  SORRY, you don't have to read them they are really for journal purposes.

Baby Proof

Drake is all boy!  He loves to make a mess...GRRR.  Just now he was found playing again in my flour bucket.  We need to baby proof better I guess.  Anyway, we put him in the tub.  Kade got him out of the tub and didn't drain it or shut the bathroom door.  I find Drake in the bathroom with my hair straightener, hairbrush, camera, his clothes, and diaper all in the water.  I am so angry right now.  I am just crossing my fingers that my camera works when it is dry.  It is the only one that I have left that works.


These are things that Drake likes to do when we forget to close the bathroom...because I get mad I have never stopped to take a picture.  Next time I will try and remember.   Yes, I have random Googled babies haha
