A Special Day

On Friday, July 15th 2016 I got to attend the sealing ceremony of one of my best friends. We drove down to Twin Falls, Kade had to get off work a little early, but it was so worth it.  Suzie's sister Liz watched my kids while we went to the ceremony, thanks again Lizzie!  It was such a peaceful & beautiful experience. I have to say my favorite part was getting to watch their little boy who, is three years old, being sealed to Suzie and Joe. I have witnessed quite a few sealings, but never one like this with a little child. It was just so sweet, emotional, and overall an amazing thing to witness.  <3 Families can be forever! <3 Love you so much Suz!

Anniversary Date

Kade took me out to dinner for our anniversary, the kids got to come.  We tend to have bad luck with people canceling last minute.  It was great, we still had fun.

He spoiled me.  We went to eat where I wanted to go, wingers. Then he took me an the kids to breaking dawn part two.  

It was pretty good, all of it, even having the kids with us.

3 Year Anniversary

Today marks 3 years.  I love my husband, he is awesome.

We went out to eat at Wingers, I really like that place.  We had a fun time, ate too much, went to the temple, and watched the new Twilight movie.  I had a great time.  I cannot believe it has already been 3 years!  3 down, forever and ever to go :) Love you Mr. Kade.

Suzi Q

Originally this post was going to be basically pictures.  But then there was an exciting event that took place last night, so I am going to write about it even though it isn't about me.  Suzi is my best friend, we were really tight in high school and have actually stayed friends through it all.

May is a busy month.  My mother's birthday is the 1st and then there is mothers day.  Suzi's birthday is the 16th, followed by my mother-in-laws on the 17th, followed by Kade's on the 18th.  I would say by far it is the most celebrated month. 

Suzi came down and helped celebrate Kade's birthday and we went out to eat and caught up on life.  She caught me up on her boyfriend Joe. 

 Then last night she sent me a text with this picture.

  

I called her to make sure it was for real.  Joe is moving to Utah to go to school pretty soon, so I thought they were going to date long distance.  But apparently he didn't want her to get away, so he proposed.  She told me they are planning on getting married around January....but that is tentative. 

  On another note, I have not met this man, so I am a little anxious to.  I need to make sure he is good enough for my little Suzi :D

Anyway, Congratulations you two crazy love birds.

2.5 Years

I love Kade!

Time has gone by so fast and I am constantly reminded lucky I am to have the life I do.

Kade is so handsome and such a fun guy to be around.

He works really hard to provide for our family and to keep us happy.

He is the best dad and such a great support to me.

I am so blessed to have him...forever

Hunger Games

I have read all of the books, and Kade has even read the first one. I kept calling in on the radio station hoping to score free tickets...no luck. I told Kade I rather not spend a lot of money going to a movie and that I rather wait till it came out at the cheap theater. Kade must have been excited for the movie because he didn't listen to me.

On Friday night at 9:45 we went to Edwards and watched The Hunger Games, it was our first date in 4 months... I'm not so sure you could call it a date, I took Addyson with us, no busy Drake tho. But we went out to Carl's Jr. I have never been before, it was yummy, the burger was too big to finish. Yeah, most of you would roll your eyes at my date night, but hey we are poor LOL.

The movie was great, but I wonder if people who didn't read the books would understand...they left out tonz of info.

I enjoyed myself and I am excited for the next movie...

Ready for the MOVIE. If you look at Kade's Face it looks dirty on his upper lip...no it isn't dirt it his him trying to grow facial hair. On leap day, Kade informed me he wasn't going to shave for a whole year...a whole month later that is all he has, BAHAHA. You can't even tell :D I think he will give up....I hope he gives up, it is a nasty stash.

Thanks Kade, I am glad you forced me to go on a date with you...even if I got after you for it. I really appreciate all you do for me, I needed a break from life. Thanks again, remember I love you so much.

2 Years ago

I married the most amazing man. I am so grateful for Kade. He is the best dad in the world and and the sweetest husband. I still cannot believe that I was so blessed to get to have him for the rest of eternity. 2 years down, eternity to go.

Today was our anniversary and he made me an amazing meal. And because it is the Sabbath we decided not to go out tonight. I am sure he will make up for it tomorrow.

We have been married two years and have done so much already. I am so excited to see what the future has in store for us.

I love you Mr. Kade, thanks for all you do.

First Date

I probably posted something similar to this last year, oh well. Two years ago today, I went on a first date with my wonderful husband. It was an eventful day. I had a blast. We got together around 10AM, I was late. We ended up going four-wheeling and later that night watching a movie. We even ate dinner with Kade's parents. I think I got back home around midnight. I remember not wanting to ever go on another date, because I didn't want to waist my time on a guy who wasn't interested in me. Turns out he was interested in me, he just hadn't gotten over the awkward returned missionary phase. I love you honey, thanks so much for having the guts to text me and ask me on a date :D

At 12:30pm today my sister and her now husband were sealed for time and all eternity. YAY

Well it was a long day to say the least. I am kinda glad it is over. Kade and I are bad, we skipped out as soon as we could :D. But Drake looked so cute in his bow tie. See what I mean.

I'm such a mom bragging about my kid. :D

Anyway, I had a chance to follow the photographer around and I got some shots. It was fun. Even if they weren't looking at the camera lol.

It was fun to see everyone who made it.

I was bummed because Drake and I didn't get a picture together, just the two of us. Someday I will force Kade to take pictures.

1.5 Years

Kade and I celebrated our 18th month anniversary today. We did so by watching The Chronicles of Narnia the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. For our very first date we watched Narnia Prince Caspian, it was a fun coincidence.

17 Months

Today is 17 months since Kade and I got tied to the eternal hitching post. I am loving it. Here are 17 reasons I love my honey so much.

01. He is a tease. He is always joking around, even at the worst possible moments, when you just wish he would be serious for a SECOND. HAHA

02. He is a great story teller. No one, not even I can tell when he is telling a wild story or the truth. Believe me, he can make anyone believe ANYTHING!

03. He has the biggest heart. Sometimes, he gives away things he uses just because he thinks someone needs it more than he does. Trust me, I have lost a good TV to his kind heart. :D

04. He is always fiddling with things. He loves to tinker, thank goodness for that, because our cars are always working.

05. He is a hard worker.

06. He is a wonderful dad. Drake adores him. Plus he gets up in the middle of the night better than I do, never complains.

07. Perfect husband, he always does what I need him to do.

08. He loves me, and LoVeS to show it. ;D

09. He is so thoughtful, I always find sticky luv notes all over my house.

10. He is a great listener. Even when I am venting he lends an ear, so I can let my steam out.

11. Kade is so supportive. When I have a goal in mind, or want to try something new, he is there. He is always there for me.

12. He has such a love for the Lord and the gospel. He has such a strong spirit about him. I love having the priesthood in my home, and readily available.

13. Kade takes care of me in every way.

14. Kade has a sense of adventure. He is always wanting to do something fun and new, especially if it pushes the boundaries.

15. He is just so much fun. We are always laughing and playing together. He is a true kid at heart.

16. Kade is so handsome. I love his big smile, and TallNess.

17. He is MY perfect match. He is MY perfect man. He is no ones but MINE! And guess what WORLD, its forever. Kade and I found the forever kind of love. :D

Valentines Day

My hubby is always so AMAZING. I am very much in love with him! There is no changing that. I always say this, but I am so glad I get to spend forever with Kade.

I am probably the worst person when it comes to gifts, giving gifts. I have a hard time giving gifts because I worry that the person they are meant for wont like them. So I worry and worry and then just give up. I know, I know I shouldn't give up so easily. Kade on the other hand, is always looking for an excuse to buy me something! Isn't he great?

Anyways, Kade and I were cleaning out a repossessed home in Blackfoot, he surprised me with a dozen red roses. It was super cute, and I am glad Kade was sweet enough to give me a reminder of his love.

Weddings, Weddings, Everywhere

Congrats to the two siblings who are both newly engaged.

My older brother Ean proposed to Makel Martin on Christmas Eve. They will be married in the Idaho Falls temple on April 9th (my sister Anne Marie's birthday). She is a super sweet girl, we are excited to welcome her to the family.

My younger sister Trecia was engaged to Jacob Butt on February 5th. They will be married in the Idaho Falls temple on June 3rd. Jacob has been a friend of Ean's for a few years now, so he is pretty much already part of the family, but none the less we are excited for him to be a permanent part of our family.

Good luck to both my siblings. I am so excited to be a part of all the love:D
