Christmas 2016
These first 3 pictures are from the big Kunz family Christmas party. My kids were all excited to sit on Santa's lap and talk with him.
This is Drake's class with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
He is in the bright blue coat holding a candy cane.
These next pictures were taken on Christmas,
each kid is playing or showing what they got from Santa.
Drake got a shark ship, he really wanted this.
It floats in the water and holds matchbox cars.
Addyson wanted "girl legos"
I was worried that she wouldn't actually like or play with these,
and Legos are expensive. I have been pleasantly surprised and
I wish we would have gotten legos for ALL of the kids this year.
Lex got a train and it drives on a track.
Most of Christmas morning, Kade helped Addyson put together her Lego set. The boys were quickly bored with their toys and sat around watching these two put it together. I felt like they felt left out, but it was good for Addy to spend daddy daughter time.
Church got cancelled, SO MUCH SNOW.
This gave the kids more time to just play all morning.
Here is a picture of the kids with their
Christmas pajama's that they got from G&G Bingham
Later at Christmas dinner, Grandpa Kunz unwrapped a gift from Trecia and Jake. The kids initially had a bunch of fun trying to fit inside the large mailbox. Later, they spent hours sliding down the stairs in the box it came in.
I wanted a picture by my moms tree.
It is traditional red, one of these years I will update my ornaments to something I like better.
Here is my family on Christmas 2016
I hope you all had a wonderful day and were blessed.

Family Pictures 2016
This year pictures got pushed back, then some more. But, because my mother-in-law only asks for a family picture for Christmas each year, it really pushes me to get them done. It is an easy way to get a Christmas gift out of the way. Lex and Drake both have pretty limited clothing and colors. Addyson is blessed with tons of girl cousins, which means hand-me-downs. I always spend a good deal of money on clothing JUST for family pictures, then no one wears anything after, and its just frustrating. Because I waiting clear till Thanksgiving, we had a small budget and I was pretty happy that we somewhat coordinated. That being said, that is why there is so much red, its an easy gender neutral color. Although, it doesn't really match my house, I will probably keep up last years pictures. My sister used my camera, I ended up doing the editing. They turned out okay being last minute, freezing in the cold.

Primary Water Party
We went to the primary party this week, it was a little windy, what a bummer. Last week was so so hot, I blame the farmers that cut their hay, making it rainy and windy ;) haha
It was fun to get out, I need to find some other things to do, or it may be a long summer for my kids.
I didn't think to take many pictures, but the kids enjoyed themselves. I'm thinking we should make it a once a month thing. At least the pools and the people and the slip and slide. But I'm just to lazy to make it happen :)
This was a water table, pretty simple. The kids loved dumping water into different containers...these are the 4-5 year olds and they played with it for a good hour...surprised me.
Lex loves balls, LOVES them. This was a water balloon that wasn't very full, he called it a ball, and he bounced it around for a long while. He also loved using the chalk in the pavilion. It's all over his legs.
Drake is shaving a water balloon. Haha, the other kids then got into a shaving cream fight, it was very messy fun. My kids weren't involved so I didn't take pictures...

An end to a chapter
I knew the long memorial day weekend was coming, meaning only 2 more weeks before Ragnar. Meaning a few days/nights without my nursing son. I have been trying to slowly reduce the amount of time I nursed Lex. For a few weeks he wasn't nursing at all during the day, but he would ask, beg, and cry. He didn't understand why he got to nurse sometimes but not other times. It broke my heart, when he would ask day after day and cry and say please, please, please. I went back to letting him nurse, but only when he asked twice. For example, I would get him real food, if he asked again I would nurse him. He normally is only persistent when he is tired and ready for a nap or bed.
I knew I would need Kade to help wean him, I'm such a pushover to my baby. And it was a 3 day weekend and it would give us an extra night where he could cry all night and it wouldn't bother Kade's work day. I hoped it would only be one hard night and lucky for us it was. Second night was hard too, but not as miserable. By the third day he stopped asking at all. I think the reason it has been so hard is that, he hates cow milk. He still wont drink it very well, I can't figure out why, because he loves almost everything.
These pictures were taken Friday morning I nursed him for a nap. I realized it would be the last time and right after he fell asleep I took some pictures and I may have cried. No joke, I LOVED nursing him. I don't want this time to end, I don't want him to get any bigger. We have had such a tight and special bond...I wish I could hold on to it longer. I feel immensely guilty for being the one to end it instead of him growing out of it. But it lasted 9 more months than I initially planned and don't get me wrong some days I'm really ready to be done.
The weekend is now gone, I'm super sore, and look forward to feeling better & having my body to myself, YAY. Lex seems to be adjusting, I'm thankful that he isn't more upset. I was so worried I wouldn't get snuggles anymore, but that is how he prefers to fall asleep. Every night he crawls up into bed, we snuggle, he falls asleep, I put him in his crib. I'm so pleased we still have a tight bond. Love you Lex, I wish the time didn't go so fast!

Halloween 2015
We were really last minute this year figuring out costumes, so we let the kids chose at Walmart. After the two oldest both chose a superhero we decided the rest of us would be superheroes as well. Kade and I just wore t-shirts. Addyson's was my favorite, she put on her mask and you almost couldn't recognize her. :)
We went to my extended family Pincock Halloween Party. Then our ward had a trunk or treat. The kids also wore their outfits to the library and preschool. I feel like they wore them for a week straight. It made me feel better about buying them this year.

Two batgirl S become friends. :)
Treats at preschool.

Hope everyone had as much candy as we did. 😜

Diet Bet, Sweatin For Summer
As people may have noticed I have some baby weight left to lose. I have been consistent with my exercise and what I eat(I struggle more here). I have been both patient and frustrated. It has been over 8 months and I have some weight/fitness goals I want to reach.
First goal: I have never nursed a baby this long, I am excited that I have accomplished that. I basically gave up with my first two and am happy with myself for pushing though the toughness. Honestly, it hasn't been an easy road...but I feel so attached and bonded to Lex!
Some women say the weight falls off when they nurse, this is where my frustration comes in. My body doesn't seem to want to let go of my extra fat when I nurse.......but like I said above I am BLESSED that I get to nurse Lex. My goal is 12+ months. If we still are enjoying it I will go longer then 12 months *grin*. And for those who say when you nurse too long the baby pulls your shirt down in public, my reply is Lex already does that so.......
I have been in challenge groups, and they are great and mine tend to lose momentum after a week or two. It is hard to stay motivated if I'm being honest.
I saw a girl I follow on IG doing a diet bet, I have heard of them but I was nervous to sign up because you have to lose 4% of your weight in 4 weeks. That doesn't seem like a lot but it is about 7 pounds for me, the most I have lost since Lex was born is 3 pounds in a month. But nothing motivates me like money I suppose, so that brings me to my
Second goal: Sometimes we need to do something that scares us. I signed up and am excited to push myself even more than normal. That means starting next week I have a goal of crushing 7 pounds in 4 weeks . That is more than double the rate I'm use to...but I'm only out 30$ if I lose and I get it back plus more if I win. The more participants the bigger the pot if you at interested go here .
And I know weight isn't the most important thing, but it helps with my other goals because I have noticed the less I weigh the faster I become.
Third and fourth goal: Run or participate in a 5k and a 10k this year.
I did have a case of runners knee so the 3rd and 4th goal may not happen as fast as I would like but even if I walk them I will complete them this year.
Do you have any goals this summer?
Have you ever participated in a diet bet, what was your experience ?

Lex 5 months
Dear Lex,
We love watching you grow and man it is flying by!
You can sit for short periods before falling over.
You love the bumbo, mom does too, it makes it hard for you to scoot away into the other room.
We give you little bits of food, you just beg for real food, and it's hard not to give in.
I'm trying to exclusively nurse as long as I can, but I can see that you are wanting more.
You can scoot to any object on your belly. You lay flat and push off with your toes. It's slow but you are getting faster.
You are getting such a fun personality. So happy and giggly. You are not afraid if strangers, but you don't like being alone in a room.
Scooting around makes him tired!
MOM, I'm trying to sleep, quit.
You also will push up on your knees and fall forward, you are SO close to crawling!
sleeping in his mini crib/cosleeper
We went for a ear infection you had a weigh in, your weight has hit a plateau. The doctor seemed concerned, you are only growing about a pound a month now. So I am trying to feed you on a more strict schedule.
You had your first ear infection, and it's was a tough one. You had to have 2 different antibiotics just to get rid of it. This along with teething has been hard on you.
This was taken when both had pink eye and you had an ear infection.
crawling out of the co-sleeper already
Your cheeks are still my favorite, I kiss them all day long!
