Primary Water Party

We went to the primary party this week, it was a little windy, what a bummer. Last week was so so hot, I blame the farmers that cut their hay, making it rainy and windy ;) haha

I didn't think to take many pictures, but the kids enjoyed themselves. I'm thinking we should make it a once a month thing. At least the pools and the people and the slip and slide. But I'm just to lazy to make it happen :) 

This was a water table, pretty simple. The kids loved dumping water into different containers...these are the 4-5 year olds and they played with it for a good hour...surprised me. 

Lex loves balls, LOVES them. This was a water balloon that wasn't very full, he called it a ball, and he bounced it around for a long while. He also loved using the chalk in the pavilion. It's all over his legs. 

Drake is shaving a water balloon. Haha, the other kids then got into a shaving cream fight, it was very messy fun. My kids weren't involved so I didn't take pictures...

It was fun to get out, I need to find some other things to do, or it may be a long summer for my kids.

House Tour - The Office-

I am by no means a clean/organized person, I have had this pointed out by a lot of people.  But, I want to post pictures of my house and I wont do that unless a room is decent.  And there is no way with 3 littles that I will ever have every room cleaned at once.  Instead of never, ever, ever, posting walk-through pictures of my house, I will just do it a room at a time.  And the room that happens to be semi-organized would be my office.  It isn't all cute and decorated yet, in fact non of my rooms are "decorated"  I plan on doing some things to all of the rooms still, but this is probably how it will be and stay for the next yearish.

To me it is kind of funny that this is the first room I show you, because it is kind of the room where everything goes that doesn't have a place.  It is also MY space.  I feel bad that it happend that way, but it turns out I have a lot of stuff.  Kades hobbies end up being outside stuff, like tools, cars, machines, and whatnot.  Between, school books, crafts, sewing, photography, and exercise equipment this room turned out to be mostly all of my stuff.

HERE IS THE NOW

If you walk in the front door, this is the view.  Living room to your left, dining room & office in front of you, a hallway to your right.

Do you see my barbell in the left corner?  That was my Christmas present....I'm working on my muscles.   The closest gym is like 25+ miles, so I am working on buying a personal one.   I never would have thought that exercise equipment would get me so excited.

Addy will do a workout along with me, following along, or sitting and watching me.  She sometimes will color or do homework when I am in the office.

Drake is not normally one to workout with me, he gets bored easily, and rather be alone.  If he wants screen time, he reminds me, "mom you need to go workout."

All about our home in Pingree

I have not been writing as often as I should, which brings a problem… I'm far behind on my blog. No one probably knows what's going on with my life. We purchased a house at the end of July, the last day of July. We kept it from EVERYONE!  Mostly because I kept getting the feeling that it would fall through, and I didn't want to be disappointed and keep sharing and sharing in the disappointment.  We have a small budget so that equals a small home or a home that need major work.  We looked for a year for a home in and around Blackfoot, everything within our budget we either couldn't get a loan for or was falling down.  Kade wanted some land, but that was pretty much nonexistent for our price range.  When our home came on the market we looked at it and made an immediate offer.

Some stuff about our home.
It was listed as a 2Bed 2Bath home with an office, when we looked at it and realized there were in fact 3Bed 2Bath with an office we figured it would be big enough. It is 1682sqft so we may not have any room for more kids and  Kade didn't get the garage he wanted but we hope to build one someday in the distant future.  It was stick built in 97 so it sin't very old and has some nice custom things about it and central AC.  The one and only previous owner was in a wheel chair and so all the doors are nice and wide, there are 3 outside doors, the toilets are super high, the closets have nice shelves and the tub and shower are a little different designed.

The house was in rough shape (foreclosure).  Cats and dogs had been left inside.  There was even feces on the walls (YUCK). We knew it would be a lot of work, but it's always more work than you anticipate. Especially since I mostly had the kids and so when they were with me it was impossible to get much done.  Trecia and Jake helped a ton, painting, pulling out floor, painting, putting in floor, painting, and cleaning! you guys rock thanks!  Plus my mom and Annie watch my kids from time to time, thanks for that, awesome people.

There isn't a picture of the 2nd bedroom, and I didn't take one. As soon as we closed Kade went and ripped out all the carpet before I had a chance, haha.

It took us a full month to redo flooring, paint, and make it so we could stand to live in it.  We didn't get the bathrooms or the laundry room floors done.  they are just subfloor. but we can use them and eventually will finish them.

I never want to move and I don't plan on it EVER again!

The house is on a 5.3 acres and is up on a hill.   The outside is surrounded in sagebrush so establishing a yard will be a big to-do. There are also 2 single-wide trailers on the property...which are torn to shreds and the kids love to explore in them *yikes*  we are hoping to burn them or something in the spring,

The moving is slow and painful.  Someday we will finally be unpacked......someday. But we officially are living here.

I didn't paint the 2 regular bedrooms yet, until I decide who is where and what colors I want. Which could be years or days, so I kept them white.

the biggest of the 2 and lots of closet. As of now both Drake and Addy are in this room.  Lex is with the parents.  and the toys are in the first bedroom.
