Lex 3 Months

Dear Lex,

You are now 14 pounds, and you are in 3-6 month clothes but they are snug.  You smile a ton and giggle even a little bit.  I have watched you roll over a total of 2 times, from stomach to back.  You arch your back and have the moves to roll if you wanted.

You love to lay on your back and watch the world go round.  You talk, whine, and sing.  Sometimes you will burst out in a cry when a stranger is holding you, just to hear my voice, and be okay again.  I take this as you not knowing where I am and want to make sure I'm still around.  :)  You have started to grab everything excellently.  My hair is your favorite thing to hold onto and suck, although I will pull it out of your hands, you quickly find it again.  You are starting to like toys, but mostly to suck and drool on.

You are an excellent pincher, often leaving marks.  You have even made me bleed.

Speaking of drooling, I think some teeth must be bugging you already.  I know they are not quite ready to come in, but you have started to drool and chew on things constantly.  When I rub your gums you love it and become content.  You are swollen on your bottom jaw, so we know your teeth are near. 

You are still the hungriest baby around you love to eat!

You will sit up if possible and standing up is your most used position while awake, you like to kick and jump.

We have a little seat and you will sit yourself up...what???

As you can see you are a VERY happy baby.  People tell me how smiley you are, and that they have never have seen a happier baby.

You even smile in your sleep.

You are mostly happy and content.  You sleep less, about 2 long naps a day, and all through the night.
