Lex 4 Months

(Warning! LONG POST)

Dear Lex,

You are officially a roller...you are so advanced that you even scoot.   If you find something that peaks your interest, you will push up on your toes until it scoots you forward.  It is slow, but still you are mobile....I'm not happy about it. You are okay to entertain yourself now, you are trying to discover the world.

You have had a few teething spells, you wont eat, sleep, just cry.  I took you to the Dr.  all they could figure was that your teeth were bugging you.   I am not ready for a teething, crawling, baby.

You weighed 15 pounds 2 ounces and were 25.5 inches long at your Dr. Appointment.  Your head is over 17" now. 

It has gotten difficult to change your diaper, you will sit up in the middle of this task.

This month you visited a urologist to have a minor procedure, this was to fix a procedure most some boys have as newborns.  The one that is "cosmetic".  There were complications the first time now, hopefully, you will have a normal boy area! What a miserable ordeal.  So grateful it went okay, and that it is far behind us.

We so love your smile!  Anyone can get you to full out grin from ear to ear.

You are interested in food, but I haven't allowed much of that yet (dad sneaks it to you though).

When we hold you, you love to stand and look away from us.  You are curious for sure.
