8th Month

Okay so I am so far behind on blogging. I cannot keep up with everything it seems.

This is a picture around 33 weeks. I am toward the middle of my eight month. Getting bigger! I have gained around 16 pounds now and it is all in my face.

Every time I go to a midwife appointment things look really good. She is measuring right on size, some weeks she is a week smaller but most of the time she is right on.

I have had some problems with being sick in the last of this pregnancy. I have horrible stomach problems if I eat anything greasy, my stomach gets upset and I get pretty sick. So I can't have much of anything I like...darn Pizza Hut is always tempting me :D

I am jealous of all the people out there that can get a bunch done at a time when it comes to remodeling. We have almost lived in this house for 2 years, and one room is ALMOST done.

My husband is one that loves company. He wont work on a project unless he has help or at least someone there to support him. Even if support means standing around, watching, and talking to him.

I am busy busy and have no time to be his full-time cheerleader. The last two weekends his dad has been kind enough to come help Kade finish up the perf-a-taping and muddling of our living room. Dad Bingham came again tonight and after the mud is dry we are free to paint.

I am so excited! I will finally be able to decorate my front room and HANG pictures.

Also in September I made a shirt to give to one of my pregnant friends for her birthday. I don't know if she liked it, but I thought it turned out cute enough that I wanted it. I didn't have any model pictures so this will have to do.

First Snowfall

It snowed all day! I was amazed at how many tree branches covered our road, and am thankful that we don't have any large trees in our yard. Snow is beautiful, I just wasn't ready for it on the sixth of October. Our home went from having the AC on two days ago to having the heater on today. I DO enjoy the cold months. Well, I enjoy getting all cozy when I am chilled.

School has been busy, midterms are coming up. My grades are not where I want them, I have to remind myself that I have a family and am busy. If I don't then I feel really depressed about not having straight A's. I am a perfectionist so what! It is so much harder to find time to study with a little one in the other room then I thought it would be.

I have had a lot of braxton hicks contractions lately. I sometimes have a real contraction or two, I am thinking it is way to early for her to be giving me issues. She better just be teasing me, she still needs to cook for another two months.

Life sure has its ups and downs. I am just trying to see all the beauty around me and capture it. I need to remember that things are always okay in the end. Heavenly father is always watching our family, helping us get the things we need.

7th Month

I am now seeing the midwife every other week. That means my pregnancy is coming to an end. I have been in my third trimester for a little over a week.

I had my glucose test today. To pass the test and not have to retake the overly sugary drink, your levels have to be 140 or below. My glucose level was at 90, so there are no problems there! They also did an iron test to check my levels, and they want them to be at least 12 and mine are at a 12.5, so I also have good iron levels it looks like.

I am now 29 weeks, when she measured my tummy I was measuring at 28 weeks. Either the baby is small, or I will have her a little later. I really wish my due date wouldn't move back and forth on me so much. But if she comes late that is okay with me, that way labor and delivery wont interfere with finals.

Total weight gain as of now is 10 pounds. The pounds are starting to pile on faster now that I am getting closer to the due date.

My Birthday

I had a wonderful day, thanks to everyone for making it a special one.

Drake started saying mamma at the beginning of the week. It is so sweet every time he says it, what a special and early birthday present to me.

My husband spoiled me as always. He is so awesome when it comes to birthdays. He always makes sure I know he loves and adores me. He made a yummy cake, and he gave me way too many presents.

My favorite gift, I have to show it off.

The Bingham side of the family took me out for a birthday dinner. We ate at the Olive Garden and I was stuffed and very happy by the end of the meal.

Drake enjoyed my cake just as much as I did, he just didn't get very much in his mouth.

6th Month

25 weeks

This month has gone by fast, I am actually almost done with my sixth month! I have another OB appointment here in a few days.

Drake had a 9 month check-up this morning. Other than a small ear infection he is doing great! His development is right on track.

He weighs 17 pounds 13 oz, he is 27 1/4th inches long, and his head measures 17 3/4ths inches. He is around the 15th percentile for his weight.

He walks between furniture, and is so close to walking. He just needs to decide he wants to walk and he will be running around on his two little legs in no time.

I have been very busy with school, work, and being a mom. No time for anything else it seems.
