New Year 2017
While I like to blog and share, it just hasn't been getting done :( and all I can say is that the app I used crashed and they no longer offer it. I have looked around and nothing works, and I gave up and kinda forgot all about it. I can write up drafts and things but when I try to pull up pictures, which the majority are on my phone, things go haywire. Basically, I'm too lazy to take the time to use my computer. But we are still alive, and actually for it only being half a month through the year we have done a few things.
Drake hasn't even had a full week of school since winter break, there has been record amounts of snow here and so he has been enjoying that :) He got a full extra week, last week was only 3 days and so has this week. There have been so many Facebook posts about moms needing their kids back in school, but it's so much less stressful than getting him up and ready in the morning, I enjoy the days off as much as he does. This week is short due to the end of his 9 week period so the teachers go to school and plan.
Addyson has been going stir crazy. Her preschool is just 2 days a week and they canceled school every time the school district did. She went more than 4 weeks without going anywhere, it was hard on her and she asked me every day when she would get to go back. She would have totally been ready for kindergarten this year, it's interesting that she is soooooo interested in school, she reminds me of how much I loved to learn and go to school.
Lex and I just chill, on preschool days we carpool almost all day long. But those days are my favorite because we get one-on-one time. He definitely knows how much I love him, he is the most spoiled out of the kids. Carpool days are pretty busy and they fly by, which helps me get more done, I have to be organized.
Kade is working, this time of year is the slow time. He doesn't deliver as much because farmers are not needing as many fuel deliveries, because it's their play season. But this year PRB the company he works for got a contract and as long as there is snow and a need for plowing and de-icing they will be extra busy. He hasn't even gotten lunch brakes lately, it's just constantly driving. But that is what is nice about his job, he can eat on the go, and I can talk his ear off ALL DAY LONG. I do miss our lunch dates on carpool days, I miss seeing his face, and I love when he buys me food :)
I started a new challenge group last Monday, it is one where you get points for doing healthy things. Drinking water, eating servings of fruits and veggies, exercising, not eating after 8, losing or maintaining weight, logging a food journal. I love these kinds of challenges, investing a few dollars makes me stick things out. I am in it for the healthy habits, I'm already at a weight that I'm comfortable with, the focus on eating veggies, getting water, just does my body good. I'm hoping I continue to work and not start letting things slide, so far I'm pretty happy that I'm sticking to my goals.
That is how our year is going, hopefully you had a great holiday, and you are making 2017 a great year.
Happy NEW YEAR!

Christmas 2016
These first 3 pictures are from the big Kunz family Christmas party. My kids were all excited to sit on Santa's lap and talk with him.
This is Drake's class with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
He is in the bright blue coat holding a candy cane.
These next pictures were taken on Christmas,
each kid is playing or showing what they got from Santa.
Drake got a shark ship, he really wanted this.
It floats in the water and holds matchbox cars.
Addyson wanted "girl legos"
I was worried that she wouldn't actually like or play with these,
and Legos are expensive. I have been pleasantly surprised and
I wish we would have gotten legos for ALL of the kids this year.
Lex got a train and it drives on a track.
Most of Christmas morning, Kade helped Addyson put together her Lego set. The boys were quickly bored with their toys and sat around watching these two put it together. I felt like they felt left out, but it was good for Addy to spend daddy daughter time.
Church got cancelled, SO MUCH SNOW.
This gave the kids more time to just play all morning.
Here is a picture of the kids with their
Christmas pajama's that they got from G&G Bingham
Later at Christmas dinner, Grandpa Kunz unwrapped a gift from Trecia and Jake. The kids initially had a bunch of fun trying to fit inside the large mailbox. Later, they spent hours sliding down the stairs in the box it came in.
I wanted a picture by my moms tree.
It is traditional red, one of these years I will update my ornaments to something I like better.
Here is my family on Christmas 2016
I hope you all had a wonderful day and were blessed.

Gracie Colette Butt
I got a new niece on Nov 29, 2016
She was 9 days overdue and her mom was so relieved to have her here. I have never been more anxious for someone else to have a baby, seriously it felt like years that Trecia was pregnant.
She was 7lbs 6oz and 20inches
My kids, especially Lex, have been obsessed with her. I guess we haven't had a baby that we see every week....since Lex was born. We are lucky and get to hold her every Sunday at dinner.

Family Pictures 2016
This year pictures got pushed back, then some more. But, because my mother-in-law only asks for a family picture for Christmas each year, it really pushes me to get them done. It is an easy way to get a Christmas gift out of the way. Lex and Drake both have pretty limited clothing and colors. Addyson is blessed with tons of girl cousins, which means hand-me-downs. I always spend a good deal of money on clothing JUST for family pictures, then no one wears anything after, and its just frustrating. Because I waiting clear till Thanksgiving, we had a small budget and I was pretty happy that we somewhat coordinated. That being said, that is why there is so much red, its an easy gender neutral color. Although, it doesn't really match my house, I will probably keep up last years pictures. My sister used my camera, I ended up doing the editing. They turned out okay being last minute, freezing in the cold.

School 2016
We went to Taco Bell for lunch after our first CRAZY day of school.
I don't feel like there has been much to say, although I'm sure there is plenty. Because of Facebook I feel like I have already shared all this, thinking about it I haven't.
The kids started school a few weeks ago and it has been nonstop busy. Now that we are starting week 3, things are calming down. But then harvest will be here and a whole new schedule will emerge.
We managed to find 5 morning kindergarten kids out here in Pingree. It has been nice only having to pick up the kids less than once a week. But that ALSO changes after harvest. Kindergarten changes to a longer schedule with new pickup times and some kids who need extra help stay the whole day.
Right now Drake catches the bus in the morning before 7, then he is home by noon. On Monday and Wednesday, Addyson goes to preschool in the afternoon. After harvest I will have 2ish hours Monday and Wednesday with just baby Lex. It's going to be a little weird.
The kids dressed and excited for their first day.
Addyson's first day, mommy&me day. I promise her hair is done, her bangs fell our and it looks crazy.
Drake and I went to meet his teacher.
He is so little.
He was really cute, waving at his bus driver. He didn't want her to miss him. HAHA
He was so excited to ride the bus, but he says it's a long ride. I didn't cry until I got into the house.
Drake's first day of school, the PTA shared this picture.
Drake had treats the first week of school, the theme was bus safety. We made little buses for the kids.
Lex sleeping, because he isn't in this post otherwise.

Bear Lake
A week and a half before school started, we decided to do one last fun thing as a family, we went to Bear Lake. I love how beautiful the water is there. It is so blue, the air was smokey because of the fires, but it was still so beautiful.
Our family, Summer of 2016. Yes, that is KT tape on my runners knees.
Drake didn't particularly like the sand, it was dirty and sticky. We had to convince him to sit down on the ground.
You can finally see her baby bump, although she hides it every chance she gets.
The girls sitting in the warm water.
They made an amazing castle.
I used the fitted sheet idea, I saw on Pinterest, where you put coolers around a fitted sheet. It was great to have somewhere to sit during lunch.
He is such a great dad, getting into the sand and playing.
